I have been art journaling for 2yrs now....I’ve learned a lot by just watching then imitating (which proved to be EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE bc I felt i needed the specific products the artists were using in order to get the same result, which was kind of true but I wasn’t really learning anything in terms of creating my own style, I was really just imitating the creativity of others) I have only just found your channel like a week or 2 ago & I have already learned SO MUCH from you in the last week! AND today marks one week when I’ve been only working in a composition notebook (an 89 cents book despite all the money spent on fancy dylusions journals) I have SO MANY PAGES going in both the collection of dylusions journals & the composition notebook- I stopped in the expensive books bc I was scared to ruin a page but it’s been so freeing to experiment without a care of what happens to the pages in the composition book!!! With all the hundreds of dollars I’ve spent on all sorts of stamps stencils pastels markers watercolors paints gelatos etc etc it’s been this composition notebook, a few paints a couple of markers & loss of the fear/intimidation that has finally produced a visual representation of MY OWN WORK!!! In just this week I’ve learned SO MUCH it’s unreal!! Most of all, how unnecessary it is to buy so many products!!! My favorite page so far was created by using a set of prima watercolors & a gold leaf marker that was like $4 in an 89 cent book!! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing these techniques!!! They’re priceless!!

Loving your channel for these great ideas I can use with groups. This is easy to teach and can product quick results within an hour of work. It also fits within the shoestring budget that agencies have. Thank you!
