Assault on Dragon Keep is quite brilliant when you compare it to the other DLCs. The other DLCs are basically more Borderlands. More shooting, more looting, etc. Assault is a fantasy hellscape full of candy and skeletons that's also about how a little girl deals with grief and loss. It's very clever and clearly the most inspired of the DLCs

They also made good use of a beloved videogame trope, the token "game within a game" campaign. They used D&D to both poke fun and celebrate the RPG genre while exploring the tabletop's interpersonal aspect with Tina projecting her grief as the DM.

BL2 Made me feel so much. Rage and sadness at handsome jack when we're forced to kill bloodwing and angel. Also when handsome jack kills Roland. It's the only game that's ever made me cry. The tiny tina DLC hit me like a ton of bricks. The denial, and her telling everybody that she knows, but just wants to believe he's out there it's heartbreaking and honestly it's making me tear up just writing this out.

However the beautiful thing about Borderlands is that it was every little bit being pure gold!!!! Now okay the game plays fantastic. However Mass Effect 3 had wonderful gameplay! The problem with Mass Effect 3 and Borderlands 3 are these super terrible ass endings that are really hard to look past........ And in the world of Call of Duty being such a huge disappointment when it comes to stupid ass plot, Borderlands was supposed to be a sanctuary away from that. That's the reason why Borderlands 3 is such a massive disappointment. Although the gameplay is fan-freaking-tastic the glaring issue is terrible writing trying to kill characters that we love just for shock effect

Tiny Tina is one of the best characters in the Borderlands series for a number of reasons. I think the best part is she is relatable to real life with her grief and her methods of releasing her emotions, with her parents and Roland, and at the same time is still able to act like the child that she is. She fits in well with the other quest givers being she wants to talk trash and blow shit up and shed blood just as maniacally as everyone else.

With the dialogue-free Borderlands 3 trailer fresh out, one of the things I'm most interested in is how Tina has (maybe) changed. Although saying this out loud has also taught me that a lot of people are/were annoyed by her. Guess I'm not surprised, since any character in BL2 could be annoying to someone, somewhere, but Tina was still a personal favorite of mine.
