We had that exact same fridge in the kitchen when I was a kid in the 70's.

My aunt and uncle (by marriage) had TWO of them, because of the 6 kids! Four teenagers, one pre teen, and one 9 year old. They all cooked their own meals and ate whenever...

This was my favorite episode back then, because it was like the characters from the animated series "Wait Til' Father Gets Home" come to life.

Joyce and Harvey worked together on the Danny Kaye Show in the mid 60's.

*Love Harvey Korman* Just watched him in "Blazing Saddles". Oh wow, James McEaachin as Joshua Bowman. James is a decorated Korean War vet in addition to being an actor. The preface to this episode is very good. Ron Masak from "Murder She Wrote" and also "Goober" himself. And Tim Matheson.

I think one of the things I love about these is the number of Murder, She Wrote regulars I see in them. 😁

Why did I feel like it was a more "dramatic" episode of All in The Family? Why? For those episodes, it felt like Ellwood Kieser wasn't executive producer, it was Norman Lear.

Insight doesn't look like they had much of a budget, yet they had a lot of stars on their shows. How did they get such star power?
@InsightPaulistProductions Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Great question--most of the talent on Insight donated their time. Fr. Kieser was very persuasive, and the actors loved to play characters they wouldn't be able to in their career.

Year is wrong. My guess is 1970, judging by the theme music, hair and clothing.

The IMDb on Tim Matheson shows this as 1974. He would have been about 27 (and 31 when he did Animal House). I remember Martin Sheen as being in like half of these.

That's because Tim Conway isn't there......pretending to be funny enough to make Harvey laugh.
