Black Fungus Salad (凉拌木耳)
Bouncy, crunchy and yummy that's how I would describe this salad. My relationship with this dish is love at first bite!! 🥰
This salad has it all! Texture, aroma and flavour, it hits every of your senses. You can even hear the crunch when you bite into it!
I absolutely love this salad!
This salad uses the smaller chinesr black fungus also known as cloud ear which is very crunchy.
To make this easy vegan recipe you need
2 cups rehydrated cloud ear fungus
1/4 cup cilantro / corriander
5 - 6 cloves garlic
21/2 tbs soy sauce
21/2 tbs chinese black vinegar
2 tsp sugar
11/2 tbs chilli oil or sesame seed oil

It's to balance the acidity of the vinegar. Chinese cuisine is probably a bit more sophisticated than the food you're used to.
