Love ur content Curtis! I have to say, I'm really concerned about Jonas Aidoo coming back. If he is 100% healthy like Cal says then we need him to get acclimated in some of these upcoming games and knock the rust off. I'm worried we won't ever get him back full strength and we desperately need him

He said he’s 100% healed. Not 100% healthy.

Love your optimism…. It gets old hearing the negative comments from everyone else! Thanks for putting things into perspective

Really well done! Fair and balanced. Once Big Z can play done of the 4 / 5, which is what the NBA sees him at) the team will improve sharply.

Mr. Curtis, at the end of the season can we get a Theiro highlight video of his dunks since he's leading the country in that statistic?

This is an excellent idea!

The problem with all these injuries and pinning the hopes on getting everyone healthy, is that the team is losing valuable time together to develop chemistry, learn how to play together, and to carve out a rotation with defined roles. This is going to hurt later on. This time right now is critical for developing the team. And Arkansas is falling behind.
@sharkansas_Күн бұрын
Pacific was like 12/22 or something close from 3 at one point in that game. If they stuck with their usual of like 30% accuracy that’s another 12ish point margin hogs could have had and would have been a 30-35 pt win
@brandireeves76532 күн бұрын
Arkansas has the horses to blow people out right now, despite injuries. What they do not have is a competent offensive scheme. Hence dropping in Kenpom despite winning.

Carter Knox has been out of control driving the lane and just handling the ball overall.

I don’t see Kentucky 3point percentage going down too much. They shoot 20+ threes a game. Most of there rosters are shooters. Even there bench has shooters. Fear Cals teams struggles against teams that shoots.
@InsideArkansas2 күн бұрын
If Kentucky makes 12.6 threes per game at 42.3% it will go undefeated and win the national championship. Also, Baylor shoots 38% from three and only went 7-24 (29%) from beyond the arc against the Razorbacks.
@ToniTonyTone2 күн бұрын
@ I don’t even see that happening lol. But I do see them being one of the best shooting teams this year.

As a Kentucky fan, not to say we told you so, but... Really, I love Cal. But something happened to him a few years ago and he destroyed relationships he had for years, including with the assistant coaches that did game prep and the X and O work. I hope Cal recovers from whatever it is, mends relationships, and retires in Lexington. Hog fans need to relax. They will get better, but fifth in the SEC is probably the ceiling this year for you.
@sharkansas_Күн бұрын
I like how you say hog fans need to relax. I don’t know a single person who is stressed. The people making a big deal about the current climate of Arkansas’s basketball team is Kentucky fans and national media.

@sharkansas_ Dude, really. All one has to do is pull up any video that mentions Arkansas. All the commentators are swallowing hard and about to poop their diapers. The comments from Arkansas fans range from grasping-at-straws-denial to "UH-HUH, WE ARE TOO GOING TO BE REALLY GOOD. as soon as we,like, get everyone healthy. and get some players. and get players who can shoot. and get some players who can rebound..." Yes, Arkansas should get better. You can enjoy watching some really talented players. They will probably win 20+ games. And you can wonder about lack of shooting and stagnate offense and seeming lack of prep and a game plan. Most UK fans appreciate Cal, but know that lack of game prep shows up and results in losing games in frustrating ways.
@sharkansas_Күн бұрын
@ that’s not true at all lmao. Everyone knows they’re injured and everyone keeps saying “we will be fine when we get them back” - that’s reality outside of delusional BBN land
@keithgraham9547Күн бұрын
@sharkansas_ Keep telling yourself that. I just heard a video where the guys doing SEC power rankings put Arkansas 9th, I think. I wasn't listening close. But one guy refused to comment - he had them lower than 9th. There was certainly the edge of panic there. Personally, I think Arkansas will do okay, but don't see them seriously in the hunt for an SEC or national title. Maybe they'll surprise me. Here's how you can tell. When they come out of Christmas break, see how they play the first three weeks of January. If they improve dramatically, they could do pretty well. If there isn't much improvement, they are what they are.
@sharkansas_Күн бұрын
@ yeah I saw that too. First of all like I said. Outside Arkansas fans are saying these things. Arkansas fans do not think m that way. And btw. They also said “once they’re healthy they’ll move up” I know as a person from Kentucky media literacy is hard for you but it’s overall pretty simple to listen and understand.

here's what i see tnat bothers me, Nelly not fitting into this system so far!! DJ is not a superstar, last year proved that, so Cal needs to sit him down and let him know Nelly got the NIL Bag, let him cook!!!! it's not Rocket Science
@btcpac-pr7bu2 күн бұрын
dj is playing way better than nelly right now when nelly has the ball he is in fact not cooking
@jcno842 күн бұрын
Cal just isnt utilizing Nelly correctly. Cal's offense really isn't built to create open looks/lanes for a guy like him. And the offense isn't efficient enough yet to create them consistenly. DJ is solid defensively, and has improved his shot tremendously, but Nelly should be the main guy at the 2 spot.
@btcpac-pr7buКүн бұрын
@@jcno84 nelly has missed at least 12 wide open 3s missed a wide open lay up etc he has to get out his own head the oppourtunity is there he wont get a million touches in this system and he has to shoot open shots better
