So if I understand this right Wave controller - regulars who have insane amounts of shinsu. Able to launch streams of shinsu (how strong and big it is of course depends on how much the regular has). Can manipulate shinsu in various of other ways too, whether physical or in other means. Arguably the most versatile type of regular as they can play a upclose offensive role, long range role, or play support. Fishermen - regulars who specialize in swordsmanship. they can use shinsu to increase their physical attributes (nowhere on the scale a wave controller could) Scouts - brawlers who gather Intel on the field (for some reason Hatz is designated as a Scout even though he primarily uses a sword) Spear bearers - regulars who specialize in obviously pole arms, can channel shinsu though their spear Light bearers - light bearers are the position for the most savy and strategic regulars. Light bearers are the tacticians of the battle. They are housed in a shinsu based cubed referred to as a "lighthouse" able to search for information that is known in the tower. Able to also to map out the field and communicate with their teammates. *Note All regulars in the tower can use Shinsu to some extent, but these positions are only to give the best suited role for the said regular.

No. The positions are most dependant on what tools a regular uses. Also, people can take on a secondary role. "Long-hair" here, combines a primary wave controller position with a secondary fisherman position. Wave controller - no tool - buff team and/or debuff enemy Fisherman - primary tool: fishing reel - melee to mid range fighting (swords are rarely used in the tower) Scout - primary tool: observer (basically surveillance drones) - gather info and survive to be able to relay that info. Survivability is probably the most defining feature. It does not matter how one survives. Could be by strength or by cunning. Spear bearer - primary tool: long range weapon (spear, bow, rifle...) - long range fighters Lightbearer - primary tool: lighthouse (cubic floating computers) - strategic and tactic planning, giving orders

People are gonna complain about the art style change but what's cool about this show is that the season 1 art style was very close to what season 1 of what the web toon looked like. It was originally much more gritty and simple looking. The art style of season 2 is close to what the web toon looks like in season 2 onwards. The art considerably improved after season 1 and only got better, it became cleaner and more detailed. So while I might miss the first art style, it's a change that actually makes sense plus the animation is clearly smoother so far with just this episode alone, so that's a nice bonus in my opinion.

I have to say the direction of the beams at 2:49 really threw me off. The way it's directed it makes it seem like the small one is Viole's, but no. When it cuts away from Viole even though it would make sense to cut to his blast as he had just fired it, it cuts to the other one, when Viole's then comes at it from off-screen. Webtoon also changed artstyles, and this artstyle it's probably easier to do fights, this Season will have a lot more fights than S1, so S1 artstyle might not have done the fights justice. Animation is different from artstyle Animation is the fluidity of the scenes, how good the movement, the fights look. Artstyle is how the world and characters look like. Personally, S2 animation looks better so far, S1 artstyle was different more unique
