I love how the training montage is essentially a show of several fuckups, with Special Week herself admitting that they had no proper facilities, just some random training, but despite that, it is clearly shown she is really grateful to her mom for taking time out of her day to train her and help her to her dream.

Sounds like a normal women might be able to conceive a horse girl. Pregnancy without a father is still miraculous conception though. Since the anime didn't really go into detail I'd say everything about them is human in regards to reproduction.

I haven't watched this show so this is just a guess, but I assume that since the dying mom technically only said "make here a wonderful horse girl" that there'd be a plot point where Special Week lost a race, got upset thinking she let her moms down, then realized her birth mother's dying message just meant she wanted her to be a good person/horse. I mean she's still a horse girl even if she doesn't race. Someone tell me if I'm wrong.

@@hakunamakara A bit late, but she does lose a race quite early on, and she was sorry to her mother for the loss. However, if you have watched the show, you'll find very early that she has a very strong will and she didn't let this loss bring her down. Additionally with the help of Suzuka (her room mate)and her team, she continues her dream to be the best horse girl in Japan

She eats human food, can speak human languages and buys clothes. Regular "demi human"/other race that most likely mates with humans. No horse boys exist so... Horse girls eat in cafeterias, live in dorms, watch tv and do everything normal people do so treating them like animals would be insane. More human than centaurs.
