From such a isolated brutal barbaric upbringing thanks to Jigen, things like etiquette & formality mean nothing to Kawaki & he probably thinks it’s a waste of time but the fact is, simple social events like a tea party are 1 out of a trillion building blocks that shapes us into the individuals we ultimately become by adulthood. A nice touch to his timeskip character design imo would be him becoming more docile, intelligent, & mature like Jigen (wine, removing shoes indoors, fine dining, etc)

The fuma clan. I knew that name sounded familiar to me so I looked it up. Fuma clans originally from the Land of Sound back when Orochimaru was still trying to destroy the leaf. If anybody remembers a person named Kagero from the original series, she's a fuma too. Back then the fuma clan split into two factions. One went with Orochimaru and got turned into lab rats with the promise of restoring the clan and the other faction became a criminal empire. Yeah... Fuma clan isn't really a good clan to associate with.
