one of the few scenes in cinema that actually did sting my heart a little bit. i know Naruto and Sasuke patched things up at the end of shippuden, but this was some extremely necessary closure. it allowed Sasuke to empathize with Naruto’s feelings when Sasuke left, and how he really did screw him over.

Naruto and Itachi were alike in a few ways, hence why Itachi seeked him out to give him advice while he was reanimated. I thought this scene was really poignant. This is a type of realization Sasuke never got, even after seeing Naruto's memories. Speaking with him face-to-face and seeing, first-hand, how painful this time was for Naruto probably let Sasuke see a new part of him. It felt like Sasuke gained a new perspective and understanding of Naruto and what he really went through to get Sasuke back. It was nice to see Sasuke feel guilt over the past while revering it at the same time because his friend saved him. There's a new side of Sasuke shown here that I love a lot. Getting to see how grateful he is to Naruto and how committed he is to their friendship has been one of the highlights of this whole series.

I kinda like the dull-surprised last shot of Sasuke in this scene. He has just probably realised how easily Naruto is motivated by just knowing a small amount of hope is needed to bring his friend back. What I love most about this episode is; Sasuke approaches Naruto first. For the majority of the series it was always Naruto trying to pull Sasuke but this time he comes up and engages with: "Hey! You'll catch a cold!" It's like he genuinely didn't want Naruto to be sick and then he continued with supporting Naruto mentally. He actually showed positive emotions for his childhood friend.
