Crusader 7L

2 matches, 1500+ points of enemy 'Mech armor and structure shredded with the Crusader-7L.
This is the second Crusader variant I've featured, and is notable for being able to equip ECM. The CRD-7L has 6 missile hardpoints and can comfortably mount 36 SRM tubes, but I opted for 80 MRM instead. The primary reason for this is that this variant is fairly slow, with its maximum engine rating set at 260 for a top speed of 64.8Kph. Brawling in a slow 'Mech can be difficult because it takes longer to close distance, and ECM is best used at mid range range anyway, so Medium Range Missiles are a good fit for this one. Combined with the jump jets and above-average agility stats that are signature characteristics of the Crusader chassis, this simple setup is a reliable performer.
