I vote we start taking islands. Little ones at first like Mayorqa, just for practice, then Sardinia, on to Ireland, and finally the big island, britain. I also believe we should be better angling to become the next leader, or have our heir positioned as next leader of HRE. Thanks!

King Helie is a craven man, and so shies away from personal bravery, but he recognizes the strength of his realm and the strength of the empire. That is why he allowed foreigners to settle in Zaragoza and why when the thought of embracing French culture crossed his mind, he opted to remain Angevin. Look at how far his Angevin ancestors have come, after all. As if some refugees or French lords in Dijon will change the legacy of Angers. But that cowardice must extend to his views of the outside world beyond France. In recent memory, the Mongol Empire was at his lieges doorstep. Tens of thousands of Christians marched to north Africa to die in a bloody and costly crusade. Now, two powerful rival empires rise in the east in the forms of West Slavia and Carpathia, and the crusader state is ruled by a young king, surrounded by Muslim enemies. His nearest allies squabble over scraps in Iberia. King Helie too must see himself as surrounded on all sides by enemies and must in his cowardice and compassion for his peers, think that his liege and the king of Tahert feel the same way. So what's a king to do? I think Helie, in some fitful sleepless nights comforting his grieving wife after the miscarriage, would think about how he could make France (or indeed, the empire... Charlemagne couldn't unify all of the former western Roman empire and look at the mess that happened after he died) a bulwark of stability and strength in this scary world. King Helie should be the kind of guy to build up his realm, invest in his holdings and laws and secure the future of the Angevins and Plantagenets and set them up for a hopefully peaceful future.

I just binge watched the whole series and I love your playstyle. Take your time releasing new videos, you’re doing great. I would love to see the realm expand into Iberia and Northern Italy, as it appears these lands may be this game’s version of England, and Cataluña has been in Angevin hands for more than a century. Wonderful work!

I'll admit I havent watched every episode, ive missed a few but I have enjoyed every single episode I've seen. Take your time, please do this at a pace that avoids burnout. Always looking forward to the next episode.

This has been a fantastic playthrough thus far. Sure, don't stress yourself out, man. Still looking forward to more episodes whenever they may appear. So, I think the idea of completing the Reconquista is a really interesting one. Now, I know the whole Angevin England thing has been lurking in the background for a long time so if you get that chance, grab it. But you mentioned Corsica, if you capture Corsica, Mallorca, Sardinia, and Sicily you will unlock a special decision to form a special kingdom, whose name now escapes me. Not to mention that Sardinia also has those coveted silver mines which gives a lot of money. Anyway, love the playthrough so far and looking forward to more, but as I say, take your time, man.

I've put The Plantaganets book you recommended on my Christmas list. I have a book recommendation for you: The Greatest Knight by Thomas Asbridge; it's a bio of William Marshal. I've just started a run as Earl of Wiltshire for another historical playthrough as the family of William Marshal. I've been itching to do a one county run and this seemed perfect. Hope you're doing well in your new home.

I also just binged the whole series in the past few days. Obviously I'm enjoying it, but I had a few thoughts about the state of affairs which you can do with what you will. The kingdom has been far to weak for far too long in my view, if it weren't for the Allies, which granted you have, the standing armies of any kingdom even one as small as Galicia has 10k more troops then you. The most obvious remedy to this comes with the other issue I take with the consistently low demense limit, even dipping as far as 2 holdings in this episode. By holding more picked territory you get to get more troops, and more crown territory to invest in. I think the present rebellious state of the kingdom presents a great opportunity to strip some of the traitors of their titles and finally hold some land that is definitely in our rulers possession. I think with maxing the demense limit and perhaps investing 5k into the military you could have 30k troops which is more befitting of the rank in which is now held. I do think that the capetian kings all being said have been quite fair all things considered. I would like to see the kingdom turn into an empire organically and outgrow the capetians, like how it happened with the Aragon kingdom lifting the duke into a king. However this being said, the interesting state of affairs where the king of France evolved into the emperor is fascinating and that he reconquered the German lands and essentially handed you the French. However, he is doing running out of space to expand at least with out running into serious eastern and northern powers like Poland and Hungary. Finalizing any vassal wars for french territory while being under the thumb of the emperor seems prudent. I do think taking the island off the coast of Spain is important. Also for the future, could you not have asked the emperor to put an end to the rebellious faction before this happened? I would also like to see so focus on the important players in our realm with our intrigue and diplomacy orientated king, particularly getting hooks to renegotiate important favourable vassal contracts. I think reforms and consolidation is in order. Iberia reconquest is good, especially considering the new house ruler in crusader lands. Also personal note, I did not like the Zaragoza forfeit one bit and it's now in civil war, I'd be very interested in the affairs of Aragon, incorporating the lands near Navarre is also wise. Ensuring good rulers from your house in Aragon seems important not giving it to outsiders. The grew significantly under the previous king and with this king having so many kids, you should have lots of options to land and keep the lands in your house.

Please consider doing activities such as hunting, feasts, holding court, and grand weddings into the episodes. Adding these elements would truly enhance the overall episodes, as CK3 leans more towards being a roleplaying game rather than just a grand strategy, and it seems like these aspects are currently being overlooked by you.
