Crusader Kings 3 World Conquest speedrun in 4.5 hours (Full run, no exploits, modern patch (1.8.1))

Conquering any and all counties of the Crusader Kings 3 world map in the span of one lifetime and in just 4.5 real time hours.
This was run with speed 5, but on an old computer, which is quite visible by the game's extensive lagging near the end of the run.
This was run on the most recent patch, which at the time of recording was 1.8.1. No glitches were performed and no exploits were used. The entire point of this speedrun is that it's done with these prerequisites.
All DLCs except Friends & Foes were active.

Wow one ruler world conquest, lived for 112 years? How the hell did she survive that long?

If you sacrifice all skill points there's enough ruler creation points to get a bunch of valuable traits like Herculean(/Amazonian), Strong, Fecund and Strong-Blooded. This combo alone should make you live for ~100 years. With the health bonuses in the learning lifestyle tree, the Hindu holy site and with devotee of Ganga as bhakti, my character lives to be 115-125 fairly consistently.

@@crossfire1122 They fecund, herculean, stubborn, temperature and have whole of body tree There’s an indian faith with a health boost holy site but my character is Jewish and I’m trying to form Bene-Israel I’ve experimented with this sort of character and they usually live until somewhere between 110 and 120. I’ve had a few get near 125 when I get lucky with feasts (It can provide a temporary trait with a huge health boost) The character is an active cannibal and has eaten 3 to 5 people from events and it’s constantly giving him another health boosting temporary trait. I’ve played until the death warning and he’s 138 because of his constant health buff. (He was born in 1025)

if you pres cntrl + klick on the duchy Title you can select all countys in the duchy. That would save a lot of time

@@MiklMaar Maybe you can ctrl-click the kingdom title to select it and all titles underneath it, then simply deselect the kingdom. I'm not sure how you can select titles when you do not have their kingdom title any faster, except like Der Dude said, ctrl-click the duchy title. Anyway, very impressive run! I haven't seen a world conquest in CK3 until now.

This is amazing! How many tries did you need for this? Did you have problems with rebellions?

Something like 20-30 tries, but that's counting various different routes and strategy attempts. I always knew this was going to have to be a one lifetime wc as dealing with the mass rebellion upon succession is near impossible. Once I found the right strategy this was probably attempt 3 or 4. In the start I did runs from the 867 starting point. My logic was that my Mongol units would be insanely OP that early and while that certainly was true my best run was probably 6-6.5 hours. From the 1066 start point I had a more inconsistent start but the fact that I could stack way more men-at-arms units outperformed my year 867 Mongol units pretty hard. Also in general there's fewer independent counties and small realms which saves a significant amount of time. I do have problems with rebellions in the start, but once I form the Mongol Empire I get ~30k free units, so if I don't let too many of them die that will deter most rebellions. Furthermore I of course max out on dread and choose my faith to be pluralist, if I chose fundementalist instead I would probably have at least one rebel war per religion before they're converted. So most rebellions happens early game with unhappy subjects and late game once I've eaten so much of the big boy religions that they can field more troops than me. Luckily most rebellions can be fairly easily fended off with my Mongol horde units by either capturing their leader or just white peacing.

Not 100% sure but I presume that at some point rulers with different religion will constantly deny because of -1000 "Different religion" malus. If we speak only about time and forget about malus I guess it's 30-40 years for each generation, 12-15 generation.

To save time. The son will automatically give the titles to other family members or create new vassals of his religion.

Iirc there was an uprising near the start, that's practically unavoidable as I'm quite weak and aggressive. But other than that I have permanent 100 dread and reform Hindu faith as a pluralist faith. Most importantly I try to conserve the ~30k free Mongol units I get when forming the empire as much as possible. Rebellions won't happen when each group is too weak to rebel, and with a 30k reserve on top of men-at-arms and normal levies I have a pretty nice buffer. But even with that rebellions will still happen when you conquer the big religions. That's why I tend to conquer Catholics near the end instead of immediately after Byzantium. I think I got maybe three big-big rebellions near the end, but if I had conquered Catholics first that would have been a yearly thing until all territory was converted. This route is strictly one life-time only. My character is well-respected and crazy powerful, but the moment she dies all mayhem breaks lose in an endless string of unwinnable rebellions.

"Flexible truces" from the Diplomat lifestyle tree eliminates prestige penalty on truce breaks. It's a core perk to this route and the fact that I don't have to first kill a ruler to declare on his realm again saves a lot of time.

You should have taken the decision to form Bactria for the meme right at the end, just auto-forge all empires into Bactria, all the World is belong to Bactria.

Although to be fair, after checking the decision again, it might be hard to do that given that you need to have the realm capital in the region of Bactria in order to take the decision, so unless you did some shenanigans about primary title, I don't think you could do it with this character, given that I am very certain that no Empire-tier title starts with its capital in the right region. The religion and culture is less of a problem considering that swapping to a Buddhist faith would be trivial with this much piety, and IIRC you can be a descendant culture from Afghan or Tajik for the decision (at least I was when I did the Bactria decision as part of the Ghurid achievement run), so an Iranian-heritiage hybrid with Tajik is probably fine, which you can do so long as you live for 50 years past the formation of Sino-Mongolian, which you did.

I take credit for a hundred or so of your views.
