Ive always been a crusaders fan ever since the days of Vunibaka,and Paula Bale Gotta say that m happy and also sad that my countryman won and my favourite superrugby team lost Nevertherless Rugby was the winner and yes most of us Fijians have always been Crusaders fans through and through Vinaka Drua and Crusaders for a wonderfull game of rugby. Cant imagine now wat will happen the nex time we meet in Christchurch🤔🤔

Take the Fiji 7s team, in the recent 7s world's tournament s fielding 4 new players each time and getting beaten in quarter finals etc, we don't give excuses. Fiji is Fiji when it comes to 7s. You see Fiji is a powerhouse in the 7s code therefore we can field any player experienced or not and they would deliver. Same with the Crusaders they could field a B or C team and still they would deliver. But it can't be sunny everyday right?

At 6:28 , the commitment from Drua #2, Ikanivere to get of the deck of scrum at the 60th minute of the game to go full tilt and support #6 at full speed is outstanding effort. A testament to his work ethic and mindset. The future of Fiji Rugby is in good hands.

Clearly Drua had it all wrapped in this sterling performance only, if not for the few knockons oh wow, a threshing of the champions. So pliz Drua, you are a team just as they are and know that what happened here is possible against other teams. Remember the Fijiana had set the platform from nothing. Believe and enjoy the romp on the pitch but never fail to have FUN and feel as if you are the champions and not wanting to bow to anyone. You must possess that wicked intelligence to stay ahead physically and in spirit. I am always a Crusaders fan.

Hence, it may have been the Crusaders C or D team, but it's still not a bad effort by the Drua players who, for the majority of them, start with a disadvantage in LIFE. Listen to what former Chiefs player Glen Jackson has to say about his Drua team below. "In New Zealand, elite players essentially begin operating on a professional level when they enter their school 1st XV programmes, but a large chunk of the Drua players hadn't stepped foot in a weightroom until joining the squad - let alone adhering to a weight-training regime. These boys are straight from the island with no professional rugby experience." - comments by Drua Assistant coach and former Waikato Chiefs player Glen Jackson

Why? Super Rugby teams have been using Fijian players all these years. Finally a Fijian franchise team is developing its local raw talent rather than letting overseas franchises do that for them. It shouldn't be embarrassing to lose to the Drua - they may be in their second season but they are not beneath any of these legacy teams. They are a team of world class athletes and it should be a privilege to play against them - this includes Moana Pasifika. For years we have been giving our talented players to help the legacy teams win their championships.
