I'm Reds but well done both teams. I predicted this final and the outcome at the start of the season to a mate from ratna near Invercargill whose a crusader fan and his son. I predicted that this would be the best final in years. Come on the world cup. I learnt how to play union in Auckland. If we win, that's both men's and women's championship holders which will have never been done before especially from us All Black's

@nsdkido yes let's Examine this ref Both chief's awarded tries were so wrong 1st try Will Jordan is striped of the ball after his knees are on the ground. Chief's never give any release to will Jordan. immediately after the illegal strip of the ball, the chief's score their first try. 2nd awarded try came directly off 2 forward passes one marginal and the other so far forward by over 2 meters forward. If you want to get upset at the ref for these two clear mistakes, get upset no one in Christchurch is booing the ref because he awarded tries he should not have Examine these two tries and the lead up to them. Please

Actually, he doesn’t, but neither does Clarke. Go back and watch his defensive work. Very lacklustre in getting back and not reading the plays well. I too was on the band-wagon until this match. He’s just not good enough in defence.

First try by the Chiefs in the second half, should have been given because Chiefs Number 13 did a forward pass to Chiefs Number 15 to put him in space for the final pass to Chiefs Number 14. #cheats aka the Chiefs.

Both chief's tries were totally wrong The first chief's try came after they stripped Will Jordan of the ball after his knees were on the ground without allowing him to release the ball, which lead straight to the chief's first try The final score, if you delete the two tries that were from rather big mistakes, is 25/6 crusaders win

The upright tackle is a specific tackle you learnt later- now can only be done in a defensive stand - just had to revert to std the teach kids - it a midriff hit excellent chance for ball to spill

If anything, the Chiefs' ridiculous lack of discipline aided the Crusaders. Ref was very lenient and Chiefs were lucky that ALB didn't get a red at 10 minutes in.

Don't repeatedly infringe the rules - particularly when under a warning and you won't get (correctly) hit with yellow cards. Indeed as it transpired Anton Lienert-Brown should have been red carded and has now been handed a 3 match suspension accordingly. So to imply that thr ref aided the Crusaders does no stand up to any kind of knowledgeable scrutiny.

Only watched the highlights but on that viewing what a terrible game of rugby, truly awful, so many complaints about the ref when, lets be honest, he probably hated officiating one of most boring teams i've seen play and one of the most illegal teams i've seen play. The only redeeming feature for Northern Hemisphere teams is that the All Blacks (if any on show here) look soft on defence

They arent showing the multiple penalties on or near the chiefs line that led to a general warning. The chiefs discipline was very poor. The forward pass could be argued made up for the non-red.

Load of rubbish lots of things not picked up that affected the Crusaders - two here in this replay - Will stripped with knee on ground - Damiens penalty second half was easily over 1 minute and seemed closer than should have been. The Ref did not decide the game - Chiefs poor discipline did - Crusaders seal of some rucks - Chiefs came in side and offside at lots of rucks - This whining is embarrassing - Is normal refs miss things - yeah the forward pass was a shocker - but also in another play a Crusader cleaning up was not released in a tackle cleaning up - just as clear to see as forward pass - so what . That lineout with Damien not back 10- Chiefs got away with that all year -did you see us whine in that loss when Refs failed to pick it up twice - it was so bad Dmac had to stand still in one of them to catch it . Crusader fans don't whine - Did we whine when beaten by Brumbies - no Chiefs are becoming whiners like Canes fans - I know you are a neutral - Refs favour dominate team Crusaders were the dominant team most of the game. Clayton and Randell are excellent coaches -- but to back the crowds booing of the Refs was bad - He told them to hit Crusaders hard - he told them to rush the rucks , slow the speed of ball down - They got away all season with it - now he's a cry baby . Hopefully they regret it - they are better than Rennie who allowed more thug like play by Chiefs - I actually like this Chiefs team - didn't like Rennies one as they were dirty Same I was p.o with ABs beat Irish in Dublin and they all whined like babys - just after they beat us in Chicago - We congratulated them when it was clearly obvious the winning try was made by an easy to see illegal clearout of defenders behind the ruck - I've only be annoyed by 2 games with reffing - both were shockingly bad reffed - This game was not that - Adapt to ref - Crusaders got beaten by Lions - we didn't adapt to a european ref - just the way it is

Ruined by the ref - sending off one teams players for the equivalent of 30 minutes in a FINAL, no matter what the alleged offence ruins the game for both the spectators & the players! Too many idiot rules now …. I’ve completely lost interest in Rugby now having always been a rugby nut! No matter how he chooses the explain, …. The ref ruined the spectacle! End of story! (Oh, & I really didn’t care who won, I just wanted a fair contest! Awful piece of reffing!
