So many people live a life a quiet desperation. It’s so inspiring to see a guy do what he was born to do. And, take the time to share his talents. Life. Well. Lived.

Tom Boley is a absolute regular on my computer as I watch videos and prepare for Michigan's hard water season. Currently shore ice is trying to gain a foothold, but warming future temps loom on the horizon. I'll be adding that Kastmaster to my collection. Thanks again Tom stelar content!

The mega storm brought me ice. Now a week of 50's is on the forecast. Southern Iowa sucks for Ice fishing. Two weeks a year on average of safe hard water. This man is my outlet.

What are your thoughts on pulling fish up from that depth? I always hear don’t fish past 25 fow because the rapid depth change kills fish. Less of issue in winter?

Great content Tom! I'm new to fishing...at what point do you need to be concerned with barotrauma with walleye/perch/crappie? Thanks. Keep the videos coming!
@tharemyhopkins58732 жыл бұрын
I think it varies a little depending on who you ask but seems like as you get close to 30' its a consensus (fish depth if suspended, not bottom depth).

On really big lakes that can either support the traffic or have restrictions (like this one) he'll mention it, but otherwise not (to protect the resource).

I guess the app is paying the bills as the amount of information shared here is way down to past years so congrats on that!! I did unsubscribe but really appreciate the last few years. I will be coming back to old videos for refreshers assuming they are still up!

Yeah, his videos now are just ads for his app. Even the thumbnails hint that he is going to break down structure, but then he does not. I get that you gotta pay the bills, but it is pretty deceptive.
@muskieman95222 жыл бұрын
@Cameron Swanson Tom is a wicked fisherman and I totally understand the situation as I'm sure he does too. He was the absolute best on KZbin for years. I'm sure the amount of information you would get from the app is worth it but I watched the videos because they are well done and I would learn something everytime but this one was basically just him catching fish which I already know he is good at.
