I FOUND a MEGA SCHOOL of FISH!!! || Winter Fishing

On today's video ‎I head out to the lake to do some crappie fishing with homemade jigs. I wanted to know if I could go to Walmart and get items from the arts and crafts section to make crappie jigs. I used pipe cleaners and feather to make them!! Theu came out great and caught fish!! Check it out!! #bassfishing #winterfishing #basstournament

Do you find your fishing locations have changed since you started using FFS? If you stopped using it, would you go back to docks?

I will be back on docks when the water finally warms up!! I love fishing shallow and power fishing. FFS allows me to be more effective during these cold water periods but its definitely not my preferred method of fishing. However, it is extremely effective right now but nothing will ever make me not fish docks, flip, etc

@Roundawg if I told people not to wear a life jacket or seatbelt while driving, I could understand your rational but......I just fish, upload videos and try to help people become better fishermen through KZbin. I know I am lax at times on wearing my life jacket while running down the lake sometimes, but I just follow the law and its requirements while on the water

Hey all I have is spinning reels. They’re the 2000 series. Is it possible to bass fish with them? I means that’s all I got. Like wacky rigs a the Mach plastics like you use. Could I do it with these reels?

It had been on there a while and it was pretty cold too. They have been respooled with braid noe

Your line twist is coming from your drag is too loose and when it is and you put a fish on and zings when you crank at any time the line will twist a bunch and if you don’t believe that then you need investigation into this and you will see that this true I for example heard bill dance explain this on one of his videos and other pros explain this on various videos 😮

This is one of the many reasons why I don’t like spinning tackle. BFS has been amazing, you can keep tension and keep reeling without line twist when they pull drag in short and quick bursts. Casting 1/16oz jigs is no problem with the Lew’s Custom Lite SS or Shimano Curado BFS.
