Me and two of my brothers and my son were up there the day after Thanksgiving and the water was just up to high so we just turn around and went to Sportsmans warehouse😂 But I’m hoping to get back up there in a couple weeks

Same. Now I know to check water levels first thing in the morning. heard the blow out started at 5 am. That's when I left home. Had I known, I would have never went up.

Was there the same day, started fishing at 5 am, water was good, caught a few, by daybreak things were getting high and fast, was still fishable, by 10 we left cuz we were getting scared for our safety haha

I caught a steelhead in Walnut put it on a stringer and stuck it in the ground. It pulled free and you could see it swimming in the hole with the stringer coming out of its gills. About 5 hours later I got a hit and guess who it was. That Steelhead with the stringer out it’s gills hit my lure. I got him in and I made sure the stringer was secured this time.
