What rod and reel setup are you using??

Hello. This is one of my older videos, and I was actual using a rod and reel my dad got from a yard sale a while ago. It wasn’t great but it got the job done. I’m not even sure the exact brand or name of the rod or the reel, but it was about a 7wt combo. If you watch my more recent videos, you’ll see I now use a 10’3 Jeff Blood 8wt with a Reddington Grande. In my opinion, that is the ideal setup for Lake Erie steelhead.

Hero for lures I was using different colored beads and egg-like flies. For gear I use a 7-8 weight fly rod. Not too sure about brand.
