Wow the whole AT overbet is advanced...u have to hope your opponents are able to see 88-99 are better calls than KJ/Broadway with pair. Interesting

hey there, I've got a question for u 28:01 you snap fold your AT. Is there no decision, can't vilain be bluff? Is it obvious that vilain we'll be bluffing less then 27% of the time? What about is busted heart draw (small SC, Khx) or his Adx combos?

23:27 Table on the right. the guy opens AQo. but he checks the flop in position. I tought this was very intresting

i think its very common to do this in certain type of flops in multiway pots, especially in those that dont have a lot of fold equity

Very depended on runout for getting calld 3 streets, hard to get calld by alot of low EQ hands, and doesnt need much protection, so i think its a good check, QJs for example is probably a better bet

34:01 You are telling the flop is good for you, but doesn't villains range covers alot of hands that he is going to defend?(QJ, KQ, Tx, 9x), What's the turn strategy in this one? I don't get the idea of the donkbet vs ch call. I love the content and the explaination in the video btw!
@WakkoThe
@WakkoThe 3 жыл бұрын
He does indeed, however KJ for him, even tho he has the offsuit combos and i dont, can still be a lower % since his total (over)call range is wider then myn. That being said tho, it is still a good board for the BB looking at it now... What i mean with ch call vs donking is that in my head i am comparing the evs of both actions and from there trying to take the highest ev action. Basicly i saw better things happen with my hand after donking then after checking in therms of playability
@Teunaldo
@Teunaldo 3 жыл бұрын
@@WakkoThe So you try to take control of the hand by donking, and when on the turn your hand improves you can use a 2nd barrel. Blockers are on the 8 for QJ, and draw hands will check back on the turn, and in the case of ch call you only can call 1(maybe 2) street(s). I think I get it now. Thanks for the explaination. Looking forward to watch the new content!

Great content! I notice you flat hands in SB, CO and HJ. But I learned we often want to use a 3bet or fold only strategy cause of the rake and the lack of antes (what tighten up our range). What is your opinion on this?
@WakkoThe
@WakkoThe 3 жыл бұрын
rake, antes, raise sizing, equity realisation, expected value etc, all factors that come in to play when deciding to flat, 3bet or fold... in my opinion the rake part is just one of the factors, and of course the lower you play the higher the rake the higher the impact, however, i think it often gets over weighted compare to the other variables you have to take in consideration. Its more of a way people simplefly the game to not add another tree that they have to study/remember, which goes back to trying to remember the game instead of understanding how it works

@@WakkoThe actually im flatting a lot lately instead of 3 betting at small stakes and i generate less rake than when i 3 bet by quite a lot...

@@theotheo590 Thats interesting, maybe your get less folds preflop, or is it being raked preflop as well like on GG?

curious as to why KJ would become a fold vs overbet @ 16:11?
@samvalentine4691
@samvalentine4691 3 жыл бұрын
better question i think, why would those be poor bluff catchers as opposed to 88 or 99?
@samvalentine4691
@samvalentine4691 3 жыл бұрын
nvm cause they block straight where as KJ/QJ do not and only block over pairs and top set which would not be betting polar?
@WakkoThe
@WakkoThe 3 жыл бұрын
It is a polarisation concept, the bigger i bet the more im repping nuts/air so its unlikely that im betting worse then KJ, so KJ becomes a bluffcatcher and anything with a pair and/or 88 99 then becomes a better hand to call with for reasons sam valentine mentioned
