Nice! Love it! I also wondering to see that full play and explain, because it's interesting to see the spots where you have nothing and how you play different types of hands. Thank you for the content!

Wacko what would you say to a student if he told you "so this hand I decided to overbet bluff river from OOP to make a recreational fold a set"? 😅

Probably my favorite video so far. Every hand was really interesting! The K7s hand i think I would have played the hand in the same way… nice one!

First hand we seem to be discounting the possibility of the fish donkinh turn if we check which seems not quite right since you said he's aggressive. Not hard to believe he donk jams turn vs x with that hand and we get same outcome as in the hand, OR save money if reg comes over the top and we can fold without investing the donk bet.

Always pausing the video before next street and showdown so here are my « in game » thoughts : #1 : I like the way you played AA, very interesting lead OTT. Agreed with you that leading pot is way better #2 : I always fold vs the minraise of the fish and I never bluff river because indeed the minraise turn is super strong range only (too few bluffs to have a profitable call event with these pot odds) and we don’t have any redraw #3 : I just learned the donkbet strat from you on this spot. Just wondering if a 2/3 bet OTR is maybe good enough. The reason is that we won’t come up with many bluffs so sizing down is maybe sufficient ?? Maybe we split 2/3 and jam depending on our range. #4 : I would have raise the turn 260 to force folds from 6x region that vilain is repping a lot. A heavier size would have worked a lot imo. As played always calling the river also #5 : love the flop raise and turn raise dicier but you show that GTO jams which was not intuitive for me. OTR I guess that we have kind of an easy call as he is not supposed to have improve enough to justify another lead Thx for the share. Would love to have your reactions on my thoughts

second hand complete torch against fish. they are overcalling so heavily for 4 straight/4 flush runouts compared to GTO in general. he needs to be confirmed nitty type. K7cc: his range here is full of shit for sure, but the paired boards are also generally way too overcalled by fish. he is gonna continue a lot with all his 6x 8x and PP. other textures are far more favorable. even on a cleaner river, i think fishes might get a little to sticky with the combos mentioned before. probably good to know your fish to pull this kinda bluff on this texture.

Great Video! Very entertaining and good content! AQo river shove very questionable w.o. more info about the rec AA hand imo best to lead flop @AJs hand otr: what betsizings solver is using? K7s: i was praying you don't look into A6 😂 happens a lot to me, bluffcatch great spots vs recs but they decided to bluff so many hands that my K high looses to crazy wide Ax bluffs 😅 99 hand: perfect hand/range breakdown

I can definitely learn a thing or 2 from the hands but the AQ rivershove seems kinda meh. Some recs might be nitty but generally they aren't especially after turnminraising. They kinda disregard the flush river because they are in investment mode and therefore I expect Villain to fold maybe 20% of his range (and the shove to be hugely losing).
@ltsjack
@ltsjack 5 күн бұрын
Yeah we are relying on the rec recognizing that "hmm, my 2p+ value OTT are severely downgraded here and while my hand was value OTT it is now close to the bottom of my range on this equity shifting river." This is quite a lot to ask from the fish who probably didn't get past the "hmm" in his thought process before clicking call.

AQ i like smaller lead on turn, around 50%- river don't know probably would play same, maybe better hand to bluff is with Q blocking flushes. AJ hand would bet river block or 70% because my value mostly 56,67 wants that size.

Good video! It might also be the most dramatic video I've seen in a while lmao I'm curious whether you also work with "fake timing tells", particularly against recreational. For example, snap checking or tank calling certain spots to induce an action from the fish.
@IIIIITommy
@IIIIITommy 9 күн бұрын
29:50 , you use a blockbet on the right table on turn with J4hh And on the left side with 76hh, you decide to check because you want to use either a big bet or check strategy. But whats the difference between these spots, what determines the difference between betsizes if you compare these spots? Why don’t you want to use a big bet on the right table for example?
@MechanicsOfPoker
@MechanicsOfPoker 6 күн бұрын
Your betting strategy is driven around the hands you "want" to bet and the advantage you have. If you want to continue betting thin for value a small sizing is appropriate, but if you only have strong hands you want to bet this small sizing dissapears. So on the left, after 2 callers and an overcard hitting, i dont really want to bet 66 or 9Ts anymore, where on the right, its HU, and he just called the flop so im more insentived to continue betting a 7 or even something like 69s
