Crusising Saguaro Lake With The Desert Belle

The Desert Belle began cruising Saguaro Lake in 1964 and hasn't stopped. The boat operates daily and takes visitors out on the lake for 90 minutes. The boat will seat 120 passengers on its two decks, the lower of which is air-conditioned for those hot summer days. We lucked out and while the day was warm, the lake had a cool breeze wafting through the air, making the ride quite enjoyable.
Operators take the boat out route that is essentially out and back -- meaning that if you're seated on the left side of the boat, you'll see the opposite side of the canyon on the return trip. While out on the boat, the Captain will make his way around and introduce himself and share some great stories about his adventure. The pilot will also narrate the trip, keeping you informed as to what's passing by on either side of the craft.

Steve are you on vacation? I love Arizona but it's toooo hot.. Hope you can do some hikes and show some of the wild life on the trails. Love lakes, rivers, streams, and the ocean. Looks like there was some breeze.
