I like leaving extra room on the steerer; there's no harm in using spacers, and there may be accessories (bell, light, cable hanger, rack attachment point, etc.) you would like to attach later on via a headset spacer slot. Were you shimming the 25.4 bar to 26.0 stem? The beer can shim method works, just it's a *real* pain in the ass to get it in there perfectly. Rode my bike like that for years. Fun build! Also that multitool is dope, ty

Sweet build, but the star of this video was that Gonz deck in the background!!! 🛹🔥 Is it OG or re-issued? He was one of my favorite skaters back in the day. The way this video was shot and edited reminded me of the skate videos back in the late 80s/early 90s. Keep up the good work.
