Officials have launched a major response to a new fire near the border of LA and Ventura counties, which prompted evacuations. The Kenneth Fire emerged in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles, near the Calabasas neighborhood. As many as 10,000 structures have been destroyed between the coastal Palisades Fire, which is now the most destructive ever to hit Los Angeles County, and the Eaton Fire, which devastated communities below Angeles National Forest to the east.
