Russia Threatens To Down US Drones Guiding Ukraine Strikes, Kyiv Hits Oil Depot, "Shelling Kills 4"

A Ukrainian drone hit a petrol depot early on June 28 setting the facility on fire, the Russian regional governor said. Russian forces have taken control of the settlement of Rozdolivka in eastern Ukraine, Russia's Ministry of Defence said on June 28. Ukraine's military on June 27 said its army had forced Russian troops out of the "Kanal" district of Chasiv Yar in the eastern part of the country. The Russian Defense Ministry said it struck Ukraine's airport infrastructure, planned to house Western-made military aircraft, hitting all targets. Russia reported an increase in US drone flights over the Black Sea and vowed to respond, warning of "direct confrontation" with NATO. Meanwhile, outgoing NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg claims Russia lacks the capability to make "big breakthroughs" on the battlefield in Ukraine.
