Personally I like DF's old sound more than the new stuff. Inhuman Rampage and Ultra Beatdown are the two pillar albums that stand for that subgenre of Power Metal the band was going for, which they dubbed Extreme Power Metal. Every album since then has much more slowed down songs and have less guitar track layers during the solos. It seems that they are set on creating Power Metal now, which is a shame. Does it seem wrong to think that Studioforce had a better sound than present day Dragonforce?
