When I spend time in the wilderness, far way from the false idea of life in the cities, I am in the middle of beauty, the awe of Creation. I am home, I see the truth of this world, and that sense of longing that I had in the city is gone.

Me too. The instruments in the video are low whistle and tin whistle. I love their sound.

@@TalBarr May I ask what the difference is between a 'low whistle' and a 'tin whistle'? (I know nothing about flutes - although I am a [hobby-]musician as well...but play stringed instruments, and sing some...although 'privately'. ;-) Shy as I am, I guess...).

I also love how you tell about your surroundings. You did a wonderful job on the video. Watching your videos gives me a feeling of peace. That is hard to find these days. I'm from the USA and can only wish I could see your land. So beautiful... Thank you. I also like your videos because they are not long and drawn out. You get to the point of your story. Please keep making videos. I will share your page with all .

That's right. Peace is a rare thing in the world of humans. But the world of humans is surrounded by nature, which is the real world. And there, in nature, peace is everywhere. We just have to go outside and look. The land I filmed in the video is far far away from the USA. It's in the middle east and It was so green during spring.

@@TalBarr you are exactly right about what you say about nature. I have spent most of my time as a child and adult in the woods with animals. Ravens seem to be attracted to me. Even where I live now Ravens seem to follow me around. Sometimes I get vocal from them but they mostly just watch me. I used to have this wolf that stayed close to my camp a female wolf. She just liked to just watch me. Never aggressive. But I moved away and never seen her again. I feel safe in the wilderness and feel safe around most animals. I had this Black bear that used to watch my camp. The bear never hurt me but it did take a loaf of bread from my camp. I Sometimes would share food. We both kept our distance from each other. But that bear could of hurt me at any time but never did. Unfortunately the bear got shot by law enforcement. Needless to say it did upset me. I hope to have the same connection with animals. Looking forward to your next video. I do like the Viking type of music you do. Maybe you could sing or play. My mother told me.

@@LexaKnight Wow your encounters with animals sound inspiring. Recording "My mother told me" this year sounds like a nice idea :)

@@TalBarr Oh, so it was filmed in Israel? I could have sworn that it was filmed somewhere on the British Isles! The musical theme probably 'fooled me' there I guess ;-) Still, remarkable how similar it looks. But of course - nature is nature, and 'free roaming wilderness' is calming and beautiful wherever it may be! Very nice Keltic 'feeling' - and very nicely executed, soothing and pleasing both for the ears as well as eyes either way. Great job! (I am very much looking forward to your upcoming album, with a key-harp which you mentioned to me in another comment that you might include!). Cheers from Sweden. - Oh, almost forgot: as someone else here suggested I would also very much like to hear you perform "My mother told me"!

But ... the place you have yearning and homesickness for DID exist ... otherwise why would you miss it? Why does it resonate with so many of us despite not ever having been raised on this culture? Because it did exist .. and we were there. Another time perhaps ... but we were there. (Cloud Atlas anyone?)
