Your video sealed the deal for me brother. I’m looking for a good quality PC with a smaller profile than the IBA we were issued back in the day. When shopping, the “2.0” was just obviously the right plan because it projects the image of being new and improved over the generation before it. Your explanation definitely is directed at what will work for me. Appreciate it!

Go JPC 2.0 with a Spiritus, D3CRM of mag placard. The 1.0 is perfect if you just want it set out the box like he said but the 2.0 imo is worth it
@NemeanIndustries
@NemeanIndustries 4 жыл бұрын
Did the JPC 2.0 and Spiritus combo, wasn’t a huge fan. Crouching or getting into the prone with the weight of the placard would cause it to start pulling away from the plate carrier. Like the Velcro wasn’t good enough so it would flop around a little bit. Not terrible, but not secure enough for what I wanted.
@Themichaelwesten
@Themichaelwesten 4 жыл бұрын
Cole Gillespie I had that issue at first because I had an HSP MMHv2 under it and I moved the HSP under the cummerbund flaps then placed the spiritus over the flaps and it stared sticking better for me with all that weight in there. But it’s still thick out front with both of those. If there’s no need to run a loop panel placard out front then the 1.0 is the best option.
@NemeanIndustries

I like the idea of the SPC but it’s similar to the JPC 2.0 in that it doesn’t come complete and ends up being expensive. However, I’ve never actually used one so I can’t really say!
@nadoProducer
@nadoProducer 4 жыл бұрын
Civvy with a bunch of time on both the JPC 2.0 and the SPC here. If you have a JPC already, either 1.0 or 2.0, I wouldn't really bother going to an SPC unless you have a maritime context. In some ways, it's an upgrade. But in other ways, the SPC has some strange design decisions that can be frustrating to work around. The most common problems are the oddly high placard mounting points, limited PTT real estate, and the potential need for fabric plate coverings (ex S&S Precision SOCS). The most standout pro of the SPC is the cost: you get an JPC 2.0 feature suite for only $169--assuming you already own a Crye-compatible cummerbund and front flap. As Mr Gillespie has already pointed out, this could very well be a negative point if you don't already have these components on hand. Other than that, you get unmatched water drainage, incredible water resistance, and probably the best-in-class ratio of durability-to-lightness.

Can* reach, just not easy to access. That’s why it’s for my Nods, something I only need to access once a day. Also, this is a very old video. I have a very different kit setup now.

@@NemeanIndustries it should be easy to access, the struggle is a waste of time and keeps your mind out of the fight for just that many more seconds, and seconds kill. And we need a kit update. 👍

@@raulolvera-thorup263 I run my nods in a GP pouch on my belt now. Kit has definitely expanded but become more efficient and streamlined at the same time. I haven’t made a video in like 9 months, I could make something new!
