Beautiful. I rescued a pit from my local shelter and he is by far the best dog I've ever had. He's sweet, loved kids, dogs, cats, never touches anything that isn't his. Excellent dog. If I could I'd have a dozen!

I can relate 4 sure . My son (33) with two young sons made a trip to the pound . Found a dog at the end of the kennels all by himself in a corner . 2nd visit the dog ,part Lab part Pit warmed up a little . 3th visit . My son adopted him and the boys were 'So happy.' $70 fee but it was all good . Shot's exam etc . What a deal . This dog once he got to know us is a fine one . So full of love and so happy . He's good looking also . Proud of my boy . We too learn everyday of our lives . The whole family is so happy to have Charlie we get 'Lonely' if we can have a few days a week . Moral of story . God's love is every where . Just look . TY for reading .

You could just see a weight lift, and his expression change just a split second after they broke off that shelter identification collar. I'm so happy he got a new family. I hope they know how to deal with the breed and his assured abandonment issues he will have to work through. I am so happy for Blue King to have found his new humans. What a difference in his demeanor at the beginning of the video, when they were walking him within the shelter confines: " yeah, just another human checking me out, then I go back to the cage", to him being visibly excited at the end because..."I'm in the parking lot!! I'm going home with a human!!" Lovely :) :) :)

Thank goodness that someone adopted this beautiful pooch!!! I myself was a believer in the stereo-type of the pit til I got one as a puppy. It is truly upon the owner. Even with an owner that may be bad and the dog is confiscated, they can still be a truly loving dog! Look at the history. When they came about they were meant to be with people and even nanny dogs to children! Treat them good and they are nothing but gracious and loving! Mine is now 2 and has plenty of pup left in her! I would not do anything different. I love her and she is AWESOME!!!!

Although I'm not a dog person at all, I just don't understand people who are cruel to animals or don't understand that the animals have feeling too. I guess they just don't care. Animals are the ones who truly deserve to live on this planet; they're not poisoning the earth or the air, or building nuclear facilities that could kill us all. Bless the animals.

I just subscribed to your channel because of this heartwarming story. at first you could still see the sadness and confusion in his eyes. and then as you slowly walked him out you started to see his face change and I noticed that it was filled with happiness, And then the final walk to the car he then knew he had a home.

Dogs are pack animals. Being a member of a collective is everything to them. Some dogs have a little too much spirit to walk on a leash. But, after a while, they adjust their energy and focus. Nice job.

i adopted my Yorkie/Terrier from the shelter too he looked at me and my family and was shy to come out of the cage and the volunteers took him out on the leash outside to the area to see if he was a good match for us and he was perfect for me and i adopted him and he even kissed everyone who work there good bye he knew he wasnt coming back and i held him in the back during the car ride and he started to kiss me everywhere and started to smile when we brought him home
