You guys probably won't see this but if your dog ever has a persistent cough that won't go away after medication and treatment get a chest xray. My parents Lhasa Apso had a cough that lasted for weeks no matter what they did so my mom pushed for an xray. They discovered she had an extremely large tumor pushing on her lungs that was slowly suffocating her. It had probably been there for years. It was too large and in too risky of spot to operate and remove it. She deteriorated in a matter of two weeks and had to be put down. It killed us. I tell every dog owner this in the hopes that it can be caught sooner and fixed. Add xrays into your dog's physicals every few years. It could save their life.

Julien please please please ask your vet about congestive heart failure. My Chihuahua had the same symptoms (coughing like he has a hairball, often) and sadly passed away because his heart became too big and it began to press against his esophagus. This left him unable to breathe. The vet kept misdiagnosing and that's what eventually led it to be too late. There's often nothing you can do as they're normally born with it. But you can lead them to a longer, more comfortable life. I am sure y'all are doing the best that you can and I wish the best for you both and Meeble

I can't believe I went 24 years without having you two in my life. I had heard of Jenna but never watched her videos until I got one in my recommendations two weeks ago and I watched it and haven't been able to stop watching both of you ever chance I get. You are the funniest most relatable and kind people on YT. I'm so glad I finally subscribed to KZbinrs that just make me laugh in every video and even if it's a more serious video, a Julian vlog or Jenna just being extra, I always feel better after I've watched the videos. I have PTSD and high functioning depression/persistent depression disorder/dysthymia, and I only leave my house for work (I am a registered nurse). Staying home is a choice, this is where I feel save, this is where I can be myself and don't have to pretend I'm happy all the time, this is where I can recharge after working a day/evening/night shift, where I have to be around other people and pretend everything is fine the whole time which sucks all the energie out of me. Plus my job on its own is pretty exhausting, and I don't have any energy in general. So for me being home alone is the best place I can be, but when you're alone you have no one to entertain you and keep your mind from going to dark places that you don't want to think about. Watching your videos has really helped me the last 2 weeks. I always say that just because I like being home alone and I often am home alone, that doesn't mean I'm lonely. I am not lonely, I know I have people in my life that love me and care about me. I just don't want to be around them often. But I love being around you and KZbinrs in general. It's like having people around but without me having to pretend or having to answer questions I don't want to answer or being afraid someone knows what happening just because they say I look tired or sad today. It's perfect, I get the entertainment and distraction from the comfort of my home and I can just relax and not worry about other people. Thank you for being a part of that, thank you for making me a little bit less alone.

Man, I just started bawling my eyes out when you showed marbles. my mom lost her chihuahua Yoko a week ago. she passed due to heart problems, she was 11 years old. it just came out of nowhere, one day she was fine, the next she was gone. Me & my mom always enjoyed seeing marbles, because he looks almost exactly like Yoko (she didn't have as much white tho) and their personalities seemed similar. they were even the same size! while my mom isn't in a good state to see this video yet (Yoko was her BABY, so it's been so much harder on her.), and it definitely made me ugly cry all over my keyboard, it also brought me so much happiness to see that little face. thanks for this video dude.

Our elderly bichon/poodle cries all the time. She didn’t always, but I think her general aches and pains from arthritis got it started. We have PRN pain meds for her now, So she does it for fun. Whenever she doesn’t get her way, when it’s time for bed, when she’s cold, and sometimes for no reason at all. It gets really irritating sometimes because she’s very loud.
