I personally feel that this show is highlighting some real issues that people are going through. And depicts the real world that remains behind closed curtains. You can see Tharn's behavior in most people, regardless of being hau or straight and some people turn to take jokes a bit too far and they aren't necessarily bad people but misunderstood. Just as much as Type having problems with gays. You can't really judge a person without understanding the underlying issue or personalities. Just as how am not justifing any misbehaviour.

I haven't read their Novel yet, but JayBL speaks so well of their relationship, how it evolves, how they come to understand each other, how they love each other. How one completely changed the other's life. That I get so anxious to get these parts soon, but then I remember that if it is too fast the series ends quickly. And I don't want to say goodbye like that. As she herself says, this series is quite different from others we've seen, which Mame wrote her in a very special way. Seriously guys, follow JayBL on twitter so you guys get a sense of what this series really looks like. And as she herself said, we must be patient and calm, because all will be well. Because as we know from Love By Chance, their love is so strong!

He has such great facial expressions and just the way he moves. I can see why he won that role originally. Lucky us that we got to see him play it this time around! A lot of people are misunderstanding both of them. I knew from the first episode of how Type was acting that he went through something horrible and Tharn he is a really good person and i dont think he truely slept with him just want it to teach him that when you starts something then he will finish it. I been watching Bl for so long that i get the whole story line from the beginning without even reading the books. Because of Type pain he thinks all gay people are the same and Tharn thinks since he didnt do nothing wrong he didnt understand Type. Basically they are both misunderstanding each other but more so Type than Tharn. My heart goes out for both characters. I dont like what happen to Type and i dont like how some of yall are acting towards Tharn saying he cruel or evil. All im saying before you judge this series understand both person view points. I read a lot of comments from other videos and all i pretty is the same comments.

I really tried my best to justify what Tharn did. However I still really can't seem to understand how people are okay with what he did. Even if Type was fucking shitty, unwanted sexual advances as plots of revenge are never okay. I understand Type being homophobic because of what happened to him. But I can't understand how Tharn thought it was a good idea to inappropriately touch Type. Honestly that part ruined the whole series for me T.T made the series less enjoyable for me

i can relate to Type so much that it hurts... got sexual harassment by my sister's ex husband when i was 10. Couldn't tell anyone bout it and i don't even remember the exact thing when it happened, yet the trauma still there even after 15 years... imagine being Type still remembering it clearly.. Tharn and Type seriously hurting each other at this point, i just hope they solved their problem asap in the next episode..

I'm hoping that just like Type is going to start seeing Tharn as a person and not just his sexuality(and all inherent implications based on his trauma), Tharn also becomes aware of his own actions because we're constantly being *told* that he's the good guy and he's supposed to be a 'victim' of Type's homophobic bullying yet his good-guy rep is at odds with his repeated sexual/physical aggression and inappropriate behavior towards Type. As much as I don't agree with what he did at the end of ep 1, I understand where he was coming from in that he didn't think it was that big of a deal and he just wanted to send Type into 'gay panic' as revenge. But in this ep, it's so obvious that something terrible happened to Type and he's literally begging not to be touched/hurt and yet Tharn's idea of calming him down is to do the exact opposite of what Type asks? And not only that, the zoom-in of his hand on Type's leg and the porn-esque BG music that they keep using during those scenes really makes it that much more distasteful. Hopefully, that's the intention. They're both flawed characters and I'm sure that they'll mature as feelings develop but I feel like for the relationship to truly be healthy, there needs to be an acknowledgement on Tharn's part that what he did wasn't okay, regardless of how much Type had hurt him. It's time that we get BL stories that don't sweep assault and harassment under the rug or treat it as a natural part of m/m courtship.

i personally love this series, it deals with more mature and complex issues than most lovedovey bl series...it keeps me on the edge wondering whats happening next. also i love how the story develops and the characters come to deeply care about each other by helping one another overcome their obstacles. mew and gulf did a great job with their characters and they have amazing chemistry.

This is my opinion on the series so far (mind you, I've never read the book or seen stuff about the show outside the actual episodes): Honestly with the first episode and like a quarter way into this episode I wasn't feeling their relationship at all. Type was being mad homophobic for no reason and then Tharn was completely disrespecting Type's space and I thought it was so wrong for him to give Type hickeys while he was DRUNK, like in no situation will I be ok with that. I also thought it was wrong for Tharn to pin Type down when he was clearly emotionally distressed. However, now, at the end of this second episode, a lot has changed in the way I see this series. Seeing the reason behind Type's homophobia does explain a lot (although it definitely doesn't excuse his shitty behavior towards Tharn). And honestly I like the fact that both main characters are so problematic at the beginning because that means that (hopefully) the character development later in the series will be insanely good and they will develop a really beautiful relationship in which they both grow a lot. I also think it's really interesting to see such huge and controversial topics being discussed in this series not just with TharnType but also with Tar. Because as much as I love fluff in BL, you can't avoid such important issues that do affect the LGBTQ+ community irl. I'm genuinely excited to see where this story ends up.

This is the most popular book out of the entire series of books in the LBC world and the reason being is that it dives into some pretty dark topics but then also the love between the two is probably the strongest out of all the ships. Well in my opinion I feel like ThanxType are the strongest couple in the LBC world.

I believe Tharn is doing the opposite everytime because, in that way, Type bites and responds. (I see where KC is coming from.) Tharn's line "You don't want it to be me" and getting mad on the "Don't touch my stuff" issue yet smiles otherwise concretely suggest this. This whole clamour is their getting-to-know-each-other phase which goes away from the usual superiority complex issues (senior-junior, rich-poor). Let's just hope that this tension subdues real soon and that they stop scaring each other off with sexual acts and childish manners. i will say my opinion honestly, both of them were wrong i dont think its right to put the blame on one person both of them did wrong things, tharn thought its right to revenge that way to give type hickeys but touching without consent is never right ..while type said a lot of harsh and homophobic words its like he was testing tharn anger limit, so again i think both of them are dealing with their issues, type had a sad past while tharn was triggered by type's behaviors toward him its not easy for gay people to live peacefully while others try to bully them or mock them i dont think tharn is bad person as he took care of type and looked genuinely caring i also dont think type is bad he was traumatized about his past, also i dont think there is something wrong with the serie at all because even when tharn did what he did the music was not romantic and it looked like something bad will happen, so i dont think they were romanticizing the moment they are just showing that things can go wrong in the world those things can happen and do happen in reality and they showed that side, now that type knows tharn is not a bad person i hope it will change for the better and that they start to have a healthy relationship because it was toxic

My opinion about the second episode, first tharn is learning that type has some issue that need to be understand and to be solve. I don't know but from tharn's expression, he is starting to think that he need to understand why type is like that. While Type is also starting to see and know that tharn is not bad person even he is gay. Its like they starting to see the point of view of each other and accept it. This series is really different from the other series, they start it with this mess up, chaotic situation that eventually will be healed. Reminds me of my philosophy subject, The philosopher said that love doesn't start with sweetness but to a chaotic situation that will broke your heart. I have to say I got all emotional watching you both watch this but i have to agree with KC that all the acting is spot on! It is so detailed especially the emotions. At the beginning when Type fell out of the bed the one thing that struck me was that he actually looked like had been in bed asleep. Very realistic! How often do you see that! Usually their hair is all perfect and not a hair out of place. As for this episode a lot was hard to bear and not a pretty sight but it showed a lot to give us answers. I guess because we are used to soft details it has a lot of shock value but unfortunately a lot of things in life are!

Honestly their relationship starts so fucked up and I know I wouldn’t like this if I wasn’t so whipped for Mew and Gulf both individually and together. Their chemistry and charm are definitely manipulating me and I can’t wait to get to the couple love fest because it’s going to ruin me I know. And like no spoilers but the pace of this show is so fast based on where they are in the story and what they have to cover! This could have easily been two seasons but it’s all getting crammed in. I kind of like the fast pace.

I love this so much. Im just at aww, I think the film has the same vibe of the book untamed. This film in not generally making you choose between type's side or tharn's side, I think it wants people to analyze the situation and show how human acts when they are driven by their emotion. Untamed, the book is the same the characters weren't exactly nice, they just acted like humans. I know there is a lot of controversy but I have a lot of expectation because the staff commented how they would learn about their actions in the future. Im really excited to see more. I also love how a lot of people who were fine with the scene of love by chance is changing their perspective. Also a huge thing I love on the film is the uncomfortable feeling they gave to a lot of viewers. I didn't really feel it because Ive watched lots of this types of film but it really has a lot of emotion, and its only the second episode!!! Edit: tip is put your shoe in their shoe. Tharn who was always seen as nice by people gets verbally abused because of his gender. Type who hated gays because he was physically abused by a gay person. In life both words and action hurts a lot.

I think that many thinks are not okey, but the story is like this, and the purpose is showing them like what THEY are, if you check out again, in the final part op the ep 1, the atmosphere is dark because of the type of situation, the director didn't "romanticized" it like other BLs already have did :/ at least. omggg i have so many thoughts! first of all, REVIL you are too funny omg I loved the fight positions you kept making when tharn and type were talking at the beginning of the episode. and when you said that today we're beginning the trial of tharn i burst out laughing ahhh and your electric chair comment when you were talking about kengkla 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 "that would bring the cockroach to the yard" 😂😂😂 okay but then like the episode turned all sad and i was sad when watching it and now watching you watch it and be sad i'm even more sad ): ): (that sentence probably made no sense lmao) honestly i just want to protect type ugh, gulf's acting is really making the show for me. at the part where tharn gets mad at type and leans over him and grabs his arm, and type starts freaking out, my stomach just dropped. you can see gulf's chest start to rise and fall really quickly, like he's panicking. his acting really just makes the scene that much more sad. even though tharn is really sweet at times, i still get so pissed off because no matter how angry he is at type, he should't have done what he did. because tharn seems to care about type, i hope he eventually apologizes for what he did. i also hope they actually address the issues around type's past correctly, and not just shallowly. as in, it is super traumatic and deserves to be talked about seriously, but i feel like BL might have the tendency to be like "oh he's healed from his horrible past because of his relationship with tharn" or have type discuss it like once or twice with tharn but then suddenly it's not an issue anymore... which is SO not healthy and not how that works. but i'm definitely really enjoying the series so far, even though i'm still holding out judgment on tharn. thanks so much for uploading your reaction so quickly, it was super entertaining as always revil!! My whole opinion of this is just that I reckon that maybe tharn has reasons he acts the way he does and I know that may not justify was he does to type cause it can be highly inappropriate I believe that their issues are clashing with each other. And even though tharn has done what he’s done I don’t think we should hate him cause I know that he is gonna come to an understanding about what he’s done wrong and how his actions triggered type. For episode 1, I agree that as regards the last scene, what Tharn did was not right. I mean that is still considered as harassment even though that was not his intention. Although he didn't rape Type (and for that Type was kind of relieved and I think Tgarn earned a bit of Type's trust) it was still wrong to kiss a person or touch a person without consent. And for episode 2, they showed us how Tharn and Type would react after their actions. Let's not forget that Tharn didn't do anything bad before Type knew that he's gay. I think Tharn just want Type to learn and to get a taste of his own medicine though some may not agree to his ways. In Tharn's mind, he's just retaliating. Let's not forget that he doesn't have any clue about Type's past. I bet he would have acted in a different way if he knew. All in all, I am loving this series because they are givin us a love story that started with love-hate relationship and with some personal issues. For me, committing to a person means you give your full trust to them and at the end of episode 2, I feel that Type is slowly but surely trusting Tharn. Can't wait for more! ❤️

I will say this first: We do things we regret when we're angry. Our emotions would take control over us, and we do stupid, very stupid things we regret. I have not read the novel and watching this as we go. Both of them were shit towards each other. Type was homophobic and slurred words to tharn when he didn't even do anything to him. It wasn't physical assault but it's emotional abuse. What Tharn di was a form of physical abuse. Both of them were angry and stupid. And I liked that the series have shown us that. There were no excuses. A shitty past does not give you an excuse to he homophobic and that goes the same with tharn's actions. He doesn't have the right to touch someone else's body without permission because he wanted to know his reaction. They have shown it well. right now, i'm looking forward to how they will develop as a person. PEOPLE CHANGE. People realize mistakes and we correct them. We apologize and try to be better. and I think that is what the series would want us to know. WE HURT THE PEOPLE THAT WE LOVE AND IT'S HOW WE OWN UP TO OUR MISTAKES THAT WOULD MATTER AT THE END OF THE DAY. that was long. haha

20:25 It was just like me who has a traumatic past which was about the loneliness I used to face with, 2 years ago. By trying to create some defense armor to make someone around believed that I was strong even if I did not. My dad comes staying with me since he had his business 2 nights. First night I tried to be strong by not letting him see or hear me crying. The second night I was like previously too but I couldn’t take it anymore. While I was crying, he took care of me like usually he did. Then I was crying more than ever. I told him I was so sad because my younger brother from other school did not reply to my chat. I told him I thought I had a crush on him and he told me that it was just lonely. I just wanted to talk to him, not love which later it was true. Even though my story was not big like type’s story, it was still similar to. I Really sad I really understand how Type feel. Totally cried in this episode.😂😭

I think Type I just afraid of letting Tharn get close to him it seems to me that he hasn't gotten help for what happened to him as a kid and he's conflicted cause he likes Tharn he's a nice guy but what happened to him is a lot to deal with especially if you haven't even dealt with it properly ever.

When Type be traped in his nightmare, he heard Tharn's voice and he ask for help. He said Tharn, help me...then Tharn wake him up. In his heart he know Tharn is not the bad guy and he feel safety when Tharn hold him.

I actually love the series. They are showing that the things that other bl dramas do are wrong and is normalizing rape culture and assault. Other BL dramas and just dramas in general romanticizes rape and assault. In TharnType they are showing that all of these are wrong and they better stop. Also, please make Raven a constant cast in your vids.☺️

My view of Tharns behaviour is he was getting Not himself with how aggressive Type was being. He got caught up in the whole eye for an eye situation. None of it is right. Not Types bigotry, trauma doesn’t excuse being cruel and hateful. Not Tharns revenge tactics either. Using your sexuality as revenge is just proving Type right! The only good thing is Tharn actually showed guilt and backed the f up once he realized he was causing actual harm by responding that way. And he never acts that way again, going back to being his normal sweet self and Mew can go back to being my 1% straight crush.

In the script Tharn did not rape Type, he juste leave some marks on hid body and layed next to him, to see him panick at morning thinking tat something happen between them (sort of revenge). I mean, its probably a good thing that they're addressing these issues. I think the world is a little less defined for men about whats ok and whats not ok, like there are a lot of unreported domestic abuse cases in the LGBT+ community, especially for gay couples because generally one grows up learning that you cant hurt women, but no one really says you cant hurt people. Im just using this as an example of miscommunication of whats ok and whats not ok

Yes, we *don't* stan Kengkla(Mark, OTOH, is a gent)! I still can't believe people actually ship him with No. Like...did we not watch the same show? Can't they see how wrong that pairing is? ~_^ This episode was *deep*. Type's past explains so much about who he is now as a person and it feels wrong to say that I 'like' how they portrayed the aftermath of what happened to Tar but it's such an important story to tell; to depict what victims go through when they're trying to keep a public face while spiraling in private. I think it's so easy to get caught up in vanilla BLs, which if we're being honest are the majority and it's fine because they make us feel good, so when darker ones come along, like this and The Effect, it grips you as much as it makes you feel uncomfortable. But they're stories that need to be told, even if the telling is somewhat problematic. However, if i'm being honest, I really can't picture this Tar and this Tharn together. Tar looks like a baby and it makes Tharn seem even more predatory than he already does with Type.

Shows how the back story of each of the characters of the novel are really well rooted and developed. Tharn is a jerk 😂😂😂 but he is the sweetest jerk out there.. and btw~ in his defense, he didn't DO Type when he was drunk 😂😂😘 Just as Techno said, Tharn stuck to his words that he doesn't do drunk people. He actually just planned to get back at Type for his childish shenanigan earlier when he messed with Tharn's stuff. Aaaaaannnd... I do believe that Tharn wonmt do anything that would hurt Type in anyway... coz the truth is.. Tharn has been attracted to Type the first day they met and has started to develop feelings for him since. Heeeee just got waaaaaaayyyy a little overboard with the kissing 😂😂😂 but I can't blame him.... it's too hard to resist Type hahaha love you guys!! and i sure will continue watching your reactions~~~

I have not read the novel so this is my take on the story from the first two episodes: Not to justify Tharn and diminish what happened to Type but I think that both of them are coming from two different life experiences. Tharn comes from a place of having to deal with homophobia and the society being judgmental to him being a gay person. Being subjected to unprovoked hate coming from Type he became retaliatory and did to Type what he thought was a harmless trick as leaving hickeys. Sure it does not make what he did right but he has no knowledge of Type's tragic past yet. Type, on the other hand, was on the attack mode from the start. He never once even voiced out why he was against gay people and that may be because he does not want to relive the memories of what happened to him in the past. That kind of aggression resulted in Tharn doing what he did. They both are dealing with their own demons and have become each other's outlets of aggression, I feel like. Honestly, I like that the series is tackling such topics, I know people in real life that experienced the same thing as what Type experienced at some level.

I still have mixed feelings about Tharn. I was trying to overlook what he did in episode one but then he did what he did in episode two (not getting off of Type even when he was crying) and my opinion of him went right back to mixed. Like god I wish they would get rid of the drunk sex thing stereotype in BL it would solve a whole lot of problems. I’m starting to like him a little more because he obviously likes and cares for Type but then again he DID WHAT HE DID AND IM PRESSED. Cause now it’s obvious to him that Type has had some type of a really bad traumatic event (or even a few) happen to him involving sexual harassment or something likewise by a gay person or pedophile and I just feel so bad for Type. But it doesn’t seem like Tharn is picking up on the full extent of his trauma and is still doing things that make Type slightly uncomfortable. SO I HOPE HE DOES SOMETHING TO REDEEM HIMSELF AND THEY ACTUALLY GET GOOD STORY ARK AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT OR I WILL GO O F F.

TharnType The Series is a very different story than most BL. It revolve around a very serious matter (pedophile, rape, sexual harassment) among the gays that have been covered by all the bubbly gay stories that has been produced. It is controversial because it touches the subject people would rather not talk about.
