Really like the voice at the beginning. It just radiates with sheer weariness and hopelessness, yet holding a degree of strength and resolve, unwilling to give in just yet. To hold on, if only to spite the doom and darkness looming ahead. Never give in to that darkness, even if you are on the brink, never give it satisfaction.

An Inventor... A Wizard... and Their Magic. There are four friends. As kids they're in an industrial school. Life is changing. One becomes a master of the system, one: a rebel against it, another dies, one disappears. Can a few lost souls cope in this unfeeling world of industry, greed and lies? Or will they fail, become agents in it, support its dark interests... Sometimes genius, rebellion and a naturepunk revolution need to occur To save this twisted world of pollution, machines and fire and turn it back to a growing world of protected nature. It takes a little magic.
@thatman85623 жыл бұрын
The noise from outside was the first thing I noticed; a deep, omnipresent thrumming, like someone was operating large machinery. After I got outside I saw that my dome had materialized within a large structure of some sort. Walking around I found that this structure held quite a few pieces of integrated machinery. Most of the places I went to were either cold and dry, or uncomfortably hot and moist. The people here seem dejected and confused whenever I talk to them. My traveling companions all split up around when we arrived, so I’ve been alone for the past week. Found raven-lady in one of the deeper parts of the structure today. She was looking through what looked like an accumulation of human bones and other garbage, with some rats or roaches or something of that nature scurrying about in it. Apparently, this collection has been growing for the past 10,000 years. Going by the continual pitter-patter of more things dropping into it, it’s still growing. I saw steam rising out of a pit a little ways away from where I found her. From what I could see, the pit goes down far enough that there’s no light in it past a certain point. There were turbines at the top-most layer, so I’m guessing that’s what’s powering this whole mess. I left, eventually finding a bit of the structure that had been damaged. Some sorta robot was there, repairing the walls and putting machinery back into place. I think this place might be alive.

Generally speaking, rock and more specifically, metal music, does not do the job of making truly dark music, for that you go to experimental electronics.
@Dillon109911 ай бұрын
@@paolovallejo5500 As someone who has only stumbled upon various ambient sub genres in the last few years I have come to agree with you. There are some exceptions of course. Yet I have come to view most of the darker metal I like as the darkness of smoke during a tremendous fire. This stuff is the darkness of the abyss. Be it deep water, deep space, or the underworld, this is where I come for the 'truly dark' as you put it.

"The Cathedral" 37:34 The task force operatives line up to breach the main Cathedral entrance. Unintelligible noise can be heard from outside the doors. A task force operative checks the door. It's unlocked. He looks up at the team leader, who gives him a nod. As the operative slowly goes to open the door, the noise within comes to a stop. Dead silence. The operative hesitates, but goes along with opening the door. He can't make out anything he's seeing, it's too dark, no, it's too bright, wait, hold on... It's beautiful... The operative lowers his weapon and stands in the doorway as looks inside in, awe... of it's beauty... 38:00 The other operatives stand back. The team leader asks, "What are you seeing?" Just then the operative in the doorway is snatched inside by some sort of tentacle. The rest of the team begins to retreat in horror as more tentacles slam through the doorway.
