800 calories in 3 minutes? callin bs on that my family.
@lightsw0rd8 жыл бұрын
You must not take this literally. It can boost your metabolism to such extent that on the day you use cryotherapy you burn extra 400-800 calories.
@LoganC168 жыл бұрын

Do you have any evidence for this? Clinical trials? Dose response figures for different temperatures and durations?
@lightsw0rd8 жыл бұрын
I do not. I am not expert in this kind of things I just had a privilege to try it out. It all makes sense to me. The whole point of this that by cooling your surface your capilars become smaller and push the blood and after you come back to normal temperature they will start getting bigger as new and fresh blood flows into your body parts. But your body burns calories to do so. I am sorry if I did not make myself clear, I really can't write in scientific English.
@lightsw0rd8 жыл бұрын
However there are some studies on the internet about the duration and temperature. Max duration is 3 minutes. If you stay any longer you will literally start freezing. And lower than 2 minutes would not serve its purpose

Going to try this Friday for introductory price or $39 for 3 minute session. They said they just want people to try it for themselves. For $40 I’m willing to try it. I got lower back problems. So I’m going here after my decompression therapy with chiropractor. I’m usually really sore and limping after that. So I figured it’s a good time to try it out! Hope this works.

I agree. The very low temperatures are misleading as they are air temperatures, ice water will not be as cold but is going to make you lose body heat far more quickly.
@heathersmith57268 жыл бұрын
FHERORICHARD23 true but terrible. Bc its nitrogen it's not a wet cold. An ice bath or even cold shower would be miserable. It's not that bad. Ppl seriously can't endure a few minutes. Your body heat returns immediately after you get out and you can put on your clothes. No toweling off. Go to Groupon to find deals...doesn't have to be that expensive at all
