@@Passthecucci911 I'm using Adobe Medium. The app has improved a lot since Adobe bought it from occulus. The tools remain minimal however. That said I love sculpting in VR!

the question remains how do I get in :D The big platforms are probably flooded with applications and with a gas fee around 100 $ I am really not sure if it's worth the risk to sell on opensea or rarible. Any advice?

The choice is yours. You don't need to join at all. I found the risk paid off for me. There are also plenty of other curated platforms to choose from (but you still pay gas either way)

hey what are the limitations to this? I noticed people drop looping animations and single images, but could someone theoretically sell say a novel with art in it or something? Do these platforms allow selling such things? are there any platforms that do? This is really interesting

Most of these platforms are dedicated to art right now, but in the future there will be platforms for all kinds of content.

Quick question on nifty gateway, I hope someone can help! You can only cash out to your bank account if you have a US credit card. So far so good, everyone else can transfer the balance to the gemini account. Thing is, I am from Germany and Gemini is not availeble here. So is there any other way to cash out your Balance or do I have to wait for Gemini to launch in Germany? I would love to start collecting and trading, but this kind of keeps me back. Thank you for an answer! :)

Do you think there's room in this space for unknown artists, like myself, or will it just be over saturated by all the people who are already known on Instagram and other social media platforms? Every time there's something new and innovative people get excited, but it ends up just going to the people who already have a following somewhere else. There are only a handful of people who are early adopters that might find new success before the 'haves' flood in and take over, and it becomes just another platform for large creators. Similar to big KZbinr's getting huge on Twitch, IG, Twitter, TikTok, etc because they basically have a prebuilt audience. This seems like it's already the case with some of these sites requiring applications, and even invite only like Nifty, basically dictating who can be part of this world. Kind of like the gatekeepers of the current "gallery style" art world. I know there are some other sites that are open to the public, like OpenSea, but is it a good place to be if anyone can upload anything? Would that be like a drop in the ocean, or is it actually a viable option? - About Me (context): I'm just the average person who likes to make do digital art, I've never been "known" for anything and I never went to art school. I think I do pretty decent work and I see improvements, but I am by no means any level of famous or recognized by anyone. This would basically be my way into uploading my art online, because I like the idea of having a digital signature showing me as the originator.

im def seeing people with smaller instagram followings (under 2k followers) selling work for a couple thousand. so, while that isnt millions - being able to sell digital work for thousands when before you couldnt sell it for anything, shows me that even when the hype turns down - NFTs will still be here and forever change the art market. So, def focus on making art and building your following!
