Not worth it, I just been researching into this. It's another one of those if you are rich you get richer and if you are an unknown artist you will struggle to even get a single bid on your art. IF you are a celebrity or musician or even maybe a famous streamer/KZbinr your things will be bought asap but as a normal average artist, you will spend 80 ~100 dollars on a piece in fees just for it to never sell. 1% of the artists will get 80% of the money, the next 19% of artists get 10% of the money, and the rest 80% of artists will get the bread crumbs of 10% of the money split between them.

Also, you can't sell someone else's art as you own as you cannot prove ownership through provenance. I often see the comparison that NFTs are valuable because they're originals and it doesn't matter if people copy them because there's a bunch of copies of the Mona Lisa and that still has value. I see 2 things wrong with this: There's no guarantee that the art is original. I could find some pics in the back corners of the internet, sell them as an NFT, and nobody would know any better. Assuming it is an original, there's still an issue with the copying aspect. When you copy the Mona Lisa, you don't get the raw aging/cracking, you don't get the brush strokes and texture, you don't get the smell, or anything else that comes with an original physical painting. That's what gives original physical painting value, along with the fact that you can prove you own them (see next point). With digital art, you can copy them and they're exactly the same visually.

Superb video. Making profit in cypto requires you investing and especially with the right broker who guides you during investments. I suppose a few things I would enjoy seeing are what platform and how the actual art was made, and of course the gas fees associated with all this. I know moving etherium based crypto from a wallet to a brokerage platform can be pretty high! I’m guessing around 50-100 bucks. So I’d assume the price you were selling the NFT has to be high enough to cover gas fees at least. Probably guessing you don’t see many NFT’s for under at least 50-75 dollars or the artist is actually losing money!
