Bitcoin is not an inflation hedge, it actually does worse with higher inflation, as inflation concerns increased the price of Bitcoin dropped viciously.

Correct. It's a common misconception that Bitcoin is a hedge against inflation. It's rather a hedge against monetary debasement. Therefore, when the fed pose to fight an inflation caused by supply chain disruptions rather than overheating demand with monetary tightening, smart money reacts promptly. Credit goes to Checkmate from Glassnode for making this critical distinction.

Anything with no inherent value will tank. No one will give you a loaf of bread for a bitcoin. But they will for silver or gold.

Lots of lies and misinformation, Jessica, in this short video. Bitcoin and cryptos are speculative assets, which increase in price (expressed in traditional money, of course) relies exactly on the governments printed money in 2020-2021. There is no value in cryptos, so that it is impossible to be a store of value. The wild price fluctuations are just the effect of this lack of intrinsic value and these prices are manipulated to a large extent by the large holders, something that authorities in US have acknowledged when they refused ETFs in spot bitcoin. It is a huge casino, supported by the “stablecoins”, which are themselves a fraud, as documented already for the largest of them, Tether. It is a shame what you are doing, trying to seduce new suckers to put their money into this casino.

@@GlennDrake It does. The futures are distinct products, with no direct connection to cryptos. Even more important is that refusal is based on the sheer manipulation of the price of the ”cryptos”. This should raise a red flag to all those dreaming they will get rich out of this frenzy. Like in any casino, somebody is getting rich: the house, in this case those manipulating bitcoin prices and those controlling the ”stablecoins”.
