maybe there is a faster way, but so far I've found SPACE for the hand tool and ctrl + SPACE for the crosshair makes Sierra Chart just about on par with Trading View for ease of use

Hey Korbs! Do you think that futures trading is also better for the beginner trader, or is it on the more advanced side? I'm deciding whether to start right off the bat with futures since you say it's superior, versus taking it easy first with stocks/ETFs. Thanks a lot for your time!!

Before the introduction of micro futures I would have said it’s not a great place to start. Because we now have Micros, IMO Futures is a great place to begin 👍🏼

Thanks for the tips! How do you remove the top of the windows you have on your main chartbook? You have the heatmap, the footprint, etc, and none of them has the top bar with the typical buttons to close or maximize the specific windows, or you just arrange then in a way that those are covered by the other small windows? I can’t remember how I did that. It was an effort to reduce the window size so I could keep my charts clean...

Click on the chart, go to the menu Chart, and untick the third to last option Show Title Bar. Took me a while to find that haha.

This is really a great video and can save a lot of time and effort. Unfortunately, some of the shortcuts Aaron tells us "what" but does not tell us "how". For example, I tried to put a shortcut to increase and decrease the size of a window. Could not figure this out. Just one example. However, overall a great video.

Hi Korbs, I just stumbled upon this video since I'm considering using Sierra. I very simple question I need help with: Is there a way to hotkey closing portions of open positions (stocks)? i.e hotkey for "close 50% open position @BID" whit instant transmission (no confirmation) ? The purpose is scalping / day trading . This feature is a must for my scalping strategy where I want to take profits of the table and still leave open parts of the position. Thanks
