​@@WeebaLu I'll be honest with you if they really wanted to make "miku-Fied" voicebanks for luka and meiko, I'd be fine with that, and maybe even buy them, but they straight up need to be their own thing instead of "miku-fying" their main voicebanks because I genuinely love their mature voicebanks, since mature female voicebanks are my favorite.

3:20 actually... Project sekai uses the SP voicebanks soooo this means we have been 4 years waiting for non existent NT voicebanks and believing a fake process. AND I COULDNT PUT MY FINGER ON IT, BUT KAITO *DOES* SOUND METALIC

The most likely explanation is that sekai used beta ver for the other 5s NTs. However, crypton being as incompetent as they are, production went nowhere. They then realized they kinda have to release new VBs for the non mikus and decided to make SP by just using the, what I assume are now, scrapped NT VBs and calling them SP. Basically this pack is filled with unfinished products given a fancy name to make you not realize

@@luric6677 that could be the case, but if it were, it would make me wonder why didnt they use NT Miku from the beginning? Bc as far as i can remember even in the first pjsk songs Miku sounded choppy and slightly different to NT. Thats why i think they have been using SP all this time

I’m so disappointed in Luka and Meiko you all have no idea. I thought because of the Meiko and Kaito concert, Crypton actually gave somewhat of a crap about them but nope, you massacred my girls. And I’m one of the few people that actually likes Luka V4, (I’ve never used her, but it’s rare I actually hear her sound bad). I will say though I love the Miku voicebank. NT can sound good but SP just sounds smoother if that makes sense

As a Meiko fan, I'm so disappointed by sp. V1 and V3 sound perfect. Sure, V1 is a bit limited, but can sound really realistic if you know what you know what to do and V3 can also be realistic but incredibly powerful (case and point, and Meiko justice cover by Adam Edmund).

I didn't even know that the super pack existed until I went to the vocaloid wiki and saw it there, then I listened to the samples and wondered what they did to my girls meiko & luka, the crypto vocaloids that I like that I feel didn't get shafted that much were the Kagamine twins & Kaito (I don't really care that much about miku, sorry).

I'll put more use to Kaito SP soon, he's interesting, but I get why people would be upset over the quality of the voices. Honestly I wish they were put onto NT instead to give them more expression.

The way people are trying to defend these voicebanks too... like its so obvious that Crypton just took all their NT voices (excluding Miku) and packaged them up into this terrible cash grab. The only voice out of all of them I like is Rin because she isn't 22 GB of storage like her V4x counterpart. If all the superpack voices were sold separately, I genuinely think that Rin and Len SP would be worth it if they were marked down or something. But no, instead we got unfinished leftovers from Project Sekai lol. Again, this is what we lost Project Diva for :/

one thing you miss here is the v3 banks are the v2 banks just re-configurated just like luka v4x is just luka v3 rush ported to v4 and is sad because her v3 configuration was divine and even with a shitty qualitty demo from a cellphone recording, you can see how better she was from v4x also these banks are the nt banks ported to v4, they are the same samples and recordings used to make the nt banks is...just sad crypton these day's is literally the EA of the vocal synth

It is honestly kinda frustrating since Crypton is gonna stick with the current SP's tone meaning that moving forward, they are gonna sound like that deliberately. It's not about Crypton being incompetent but rather, they want them to sound like this! =( So in the future, let's not get our hopes up and just expect less since V6 is gonna keep that tone in particular (choppy, nasal and buggy). In the end, Crypton intentionally makes them sound like that. Oh I forgot to mention but the samples they use in SP isn't entirely recycled from NT as allegedly stated but rather, they've done a lot of editings and tweakings to the raw recording samples (old recordings ofc) to get that metallic, weird, and choppy sounds. This is because how could Miku came out fine and not the others? Okay enough about that but from what I have been listening (and my bad ears), the voicebanks they use in Sekai are a mixture of all with the SP/NT being prominent. Early days of sekai showcase us a lot of V4/V3 vbs' usages (with xsy in between covers such as Luka in Color of Drops) and currently, since they achieved what they want them to sound like, they are sticking with SP in general. I hope I am making sense and correct me if I am wrong.

It's just disappointing how the Super Pack turned out. The potential would have been insane and who knows if we'll get a pack with this many vbs again. But is it really that surprising? I don't think Crypton has done a good job with their vbs in a while...

I found a mod porting all the 3D music videos from Gumi's rhythm game! I believe it's called "Megpoid the music song pack"! I don't use Project Eden, I didn't like all the steps required and I suck at extreme mode so all the songs would've been pointless for me. 😅

@WeebaLu I've been meaning to get into Gumi as while I have dipped my toes with Defoko songs in regard to utau songs and Teto in regards to synthv and utau, I still do find myself in the crypton bubble and being able to use this mod might encourage me to listen to more Gumi as in general I do play a bit of project diva and am starting to expand into nine star songs.

Well, they arent bad but they dont really live up to the expectations that the fandom had, the japanese fandom doesnt mind, but the japanese fandom isnt the only vocaloid fandom, even if its the main one. The SP vb's arent horrible but compared to their older voicebanks they're mostly a downgrade, they have their uses, but theyre a lot tricker to use. Also, yeah they're more economical and they are good for newer users trying out vocaloid, but they arent as begginer friendly as Vocaloid 4 compatible voicebanks (V2 to V4x)
