Please keep pitching this!! As a fashion doll collector, the community would go nuts for this! My advice: tweak the design of their leg wraps and saddles and think about how kids would get those on and off. Companies want to know that these toys would be easy to play with for children, and they’ll be impressed if you go in with a lot of these little details worked out! If you want to keep these exact designs, I think you would have the most success with these resin art dolls and blind box companies, where most of those details are sculpted on. Great work! Don’t give up - I’ll take the lot!! 😍😍😍

Try pitching again but with the following: - 1-2 boy examples - how would the show work as an advertisement? Would it be a 25 minute 24 episode per season show? Or 15 min shorts? Yt? Tiktok? Or streaming? - how customizable are the dolls for adult artists? Because MH is also popular for taking apart the dolls and removing the factory paint to create new works of art. - potential eye movement? (Pullip, blythe) - swappable hooves? Maybe? - make the hair wigs to swap and trade like liv dolls? Maybe? - show fashion pack concepts!! :> - tackle the 18 and 24 inch doll market too! - magical powers in animated ads? - try creating an animation studio that saves the lives of layed off animators, plop the studio in canada, but let them optionally work remotely!! (Please, please, please, save the animation industry)

Like fae or brownie type characters to cater to the mini and polly pocket adjacent line, humanoids that take after lady lovely locks in a way? A whole universe of toys with stories that sometimes cross over so theres less worry about licensing. (Kinda like the old disney cross over episodes)

@@SavannahAlexandraArt I feel like these are good options but the clothing with lace and ribbon and stuff doesn't lend itself well to actually being put onto the dolls and taken back off again, the ribbons will get tangled or fray, they'll rarely be able to be put back on properly unless they have a connecting fabric. maybe a sheer fabric close to the horse part's leg colors or close to the color of the lace/ribbon, that way it keeps its beautiful aesthetic and can be put on the others or removed and put back on more simply. The embroidery would be amazing but what would the price point be with so many details and complex patterning? Printed fabric would be less expensive to make, but, the embroidered fabric would definitely make collectors more happy than a younger end child. Older children do like more complex things, things that remind them of being more grown up, so the 7-12 is such a big range of what children are like, what they like, and even some motor skills. Also, my favorite was the first one, the beautiful lace and hair roses looked so lovely. I picture these dolls upwards of 30$ and I am too poor, but I'd probably try to get one, and previously when I had more money I would have wanted one. terrible as it may sound given how much work you put in....I'd buy little blind balls of the little companion critters so fast O_O they're so freaking adorable!! Keep at it, you've got a wonderful idea in your mind, and I look forward to seeing more of them in the future!!

I mean, as a USA-citizen animator I'd muuuch prefer you plop the animation studio in the states, getting a canadian or european studio to gun for paying you as a freelancer internationally is tough, esp since a lot of the canadian cities especially with animation studios rely on tax breaks to run those studios that they only get if the workers are local. but yeah I would love this to be a show run in a place where I could work on it

I love centaurs, and i always wanted the Avea Trotter doll from Monster High, but i never found her for sale around here lol (kid me was obsessed with articulated horse dolls, and i kinda still am) Also, a liontaur could be cool!

I have her and I have always ADORED HER!!! I still have her and still adore her!! i think my biggest issue is she struggles standing unless i pose her a very specific way. I dont think it would be as much of an issue for this doll line, seeing they are more bottom heavy and have bigger hooves

There have been a couple lines of blind-box centaur bjds in the last couple of years that have been really popular, and I think you're right that there's a big market for this. When you were talking about trying to think of ways to dress a horse body, I remembered my My Little Pony collection in the 80s and all their silly rubber shoes and accessories that we were nuts about.

Its SO interesting that this was passed on. The market for it is THERE its capitalizing on MLP and BRATZ success by encapsulating BOTH of those markets. I could have easily seen this as a toyline that could spur a cartoon or movie series. WILD that they didnt toss $$$ at you and running out of the room with it.

This actually inspired me to make my own OC for this series! She’s a bighorn sheep centaur, she wears scene but also biker chick inspired fashion and her biome is inspired by the southwest American deserts, specifically The Grand Canyon and other gorgeous desert rock formations like that one. She’s tough and muscular and loves a good competition, but she’s also very warm and friendly despite her intimidating and intense attitude, she has a pet Cactus Cat based on a barrel cactus and a ragdoll cat breed and she often pushes for bikers and the likes to use more energy efficient fuels and respect the local flora and fauna, I don’t have a name for her yet but if anyone has an idea I’d love to hear it :3

Such an interesting idea and it's cool to see what these sorts of pitches look like. Just a thought for Billie; I think it would be really cool if instead of mono-crops farming she did/cared for food forests or used the three sisters method. This is where multiple crops that help each other are planted in the same area and in the long run it is much more environmentally friendly. Also a focus on growing plants native to each area, which removes the need for things like pesticides and promotes biome diversity! This is more for if any media made for them, but I think it would be really really cool to introduce kids to environmental framing practices, especially if protecting the environmnt is one of the messages from the line!

I CAN SEE IT SO CLEARLY- Like the Minerva and marigold in the show could have a little conflict but learn to get along despite their differences Billie could have a family line with like Bulls and cows and calf’s as her family, maybe they have some family pets Minerva could have a father who’s like this intimidating ram but had the energy of, “don’t forget your lunch, sweetly.” And could turn into a lesson to appreciate your guardians or something like that idk And frosting could help some of the other centaurettes settle their animals and critters down for hibernation and could lean in a lesson about taking care of yourself and not to overwork yourself, And Nara could have a conflict with one of them and learn to pick her battles due to her stubbornness or something like that- The possibilities are so endless! This is a good idea, and I think you should expand on this and come up with more concepts because little 7 year old me would’ve loved these! DONT STOP BELIEVEING HOLD ONTO THAT FEELING-

PLEASE reach out to another toy company and try and pitch this again! It’s such an amazing concept and these definitely could very well appeal to not just horse girls, but fans of monster high! I’m a MH boy myself, but these definitely give me what I look for in dolls, unique designs and cool concepts! They set themselves apart enough and have a mix of both cute/edgy it really could become something special. Heck even if you didn’t pitch them to a toy company, a kickstarter would be amazing! You could test the market out and see what sales could be like. I obviously have no idea the actual scale or feasibility of that but I just wanna show how much I love and live for this idea! KikaGoods have made centaur doll lines, so your idea can definitely sell. KikaGoods is more of a adult collector’s brand, so you pitching your toy line as more child-friendly can work if you ever try to pitch them in the future 😊

Wow! I have a lot of thoughts about this one and I can definitely see where your idea is going and where it’s coming from and I absolutely love it! But I can see where it’s getting a bit complicated and why it may have a few things to smooth out. I am not a toy line producer of any sort btw so take this as opinions from a fellow doll collector and art enthusiast! First things first, I think you may need to tighten in your age range a tad. If you’re aiming younger some of the clothing is, in my opinion, a bit mature for that range and you may need to change your reference range to reflect that. Maybe something angling more towards Decora, dark academia/lolita instead of lacy goth? Some parents may not be comfortable with the bustier or garter lingerie aspect of the doll fashion (also removeabilty is odd since the dolls have huge hooves but very narrow legs so sliding on and off won’t work, and with how thin and delicate tights are Velcro may not be an option either). Younger kids are also a bit rougher with their toys so four very delicate knee joints the dolls may struggle with their structural integrity, especially if they’re trying to slid on different limb socks. But if you make them too solid and non poseable you also risk losing the older audience. Personally, I think with the style you have an older target audience say 11 and up, may work better, and then you can change your angle towards less playability and more towards pose ability. I still think nixing the silky tight like garters(sorry Minerva and Frostine) is the better option and aiming more towards a chaps option (like Nara where it stays baggy and wide and connects around the waist) would work better. Another angle to look at is out of your main 5, only one has a brushable tail (no Naras little tail doesn’t count lol) and that hurts both age range audiences. Both kids and adult collectors enjoy brushing and styling their dolls. Look no further than some of the amazing adult doll collectors who do super intricate doll hair designs on their rainbow high dolls or monster high dolls. By only having one doll that you can do that to that severely limits and restricts creativity. I think changing the breed (can’t find a better term lol) and narrowing it to only horses to reference could definitely help. Maybe a Clysesdale for Minerva, an American Paint for Billie, a Fjord horse for Frostine, and just a longer tail for Nara? I think it could also streamline the bios and give cool horse facts 😊 This is all to say, your idea is AMAZING and I love your art so much! You truly have the start of something wonderful and beautiful here. Please don’t take any of my suggestions or critiques as something angled to hurt you or indicate a failing. I truly hope I was able to show passion and love towards your project. If any of my thoughts interest you though and you would like to discuss more with me I’m more than happy to as well.

I LOVE THESE!! All of these characters have such distinct vibes and aesthetics, and I'm actually obsessed with how you tied different biomes to each of them! I love how it could be used to introduce children to different ecosystems, as well as environmental conservation efforts! My one critique: I hate to rag on her, because I do LOVE her design and the inspiration you pulled from, but as it is, Nara does kind of feel like the odd one out. Going for a more sleek vinyl-y look rather than amazonian "tribal" looks was a refreshing take! But unfortunately the modern aesthetic does make her stand out from the rest, who feel more fantasy-inspired and therefore more timeless. I also feel as though her being the second horse in the lineup makes her feel like an afterthought. I know you said she was unicorn-inspired, but with no horn, there is no indication of this difference. Might I suggest changing her to be more deer-inspired? There are many species of tropical deer; water deer, chital deer, muntjacs, mouse deer... That all being said, I do hope to see you develop this concept further! I LOVE to see more biomes/ungulates being within this universe! Like you said, the sky really is the limit. Zebra/savannah girl, rocky mountains/moose girl, prairie/bison girl... And I'm sure there's more I can't think of right now lmao

I think this Idea is really cute, I as a 22yr old would totally buy these. My favourites are Marigold, Frostine and Minera. They feel the most fantastical to me. That has always been the type of dolls that grabs my attention the most since I was young. If Billie was dressed more like a Pioneer, Native American or Mexican folklore based creature and if Nara was dress more like a mythological Taiwanese character I think it would help with the idea of them being from a different realm, making Centaura like an escape. Similar but magically different. I also like the idea you had with Marigold and Minerva, their clothes look like they are made from their environment. Truthfully I wouldn't want a show/mini series, I dont trust kid show directors nowadays. A BOOK or BOOK SERIES on the other hand would be GREAT! The cover could be like those barns and noble covers but the inside is a picture book. It could have some facts about the environment the book takes place in and stickers too! I feel like Mattel would've taken this offer back in the 2000s when they were willing to take more chances, but now your best bet may be MGA. Spinmaster had 'My Little Pony' right? Maybe they didnt want to horse toylines 😔 I really want these now😅 If they dont make it you should invest in a 3d printer and do it yourself. I would pay good money for these honestly and I now others would too❤

I think biomes would really be what inspired me to buy these, esp as an ecologist! Biomes like bogs/swamps would be cool to explore, I also would love to see a giraffe type centaur! So many options for sure! A wide range of body types would also heavily inspire me to buy as well! But overall an adorable idea I love them

the only suggestions i have are -utilise the multiple centaur blind boxes as examples that there is a potential market for them -maybe pick one of the dolls and show examples of how it can be used as a fashion doll (different outfits, hairstyles, accessories, etc) -examples of how the clothing could be theoretically attached to the doll -redesign some of the clothing examples so they could be potentially less fiddly. eg marigolds legwarmers could maybe have fabric underneath the ribbon so its instead a solid removable piece -if you have the money and time, you can look into making a physical mock up of one of the dolls. for a new concept like this, a physical example might be helpful

again with the timing but i feel like at any time this is such a success! children love horses, children love roleplaying. god knows most children already make their normal horse toys talk and wear clothes and stuff. the idea that it is both a human and a horse and both at the same time would sound really fun for me when i was younger and provides storytelling you cant really get with normal human characters or normal horses. i hope to see it succeed. and even now, a body mold as cool as that, im already itching to get my hands on it, for collection AND redesigning

I think you should keep pitching this idea. This is so unique the designs for each character are all so fun. It’s like MLP and monster high combined. What if there were versions where the horse legs could be removed? So that you could still have them wear pants/skirts to match with the tops. I love the concept, they should have a story and cartoon series like Monster High, you could turn the whole doll house thing on its head by creating mini biome area where they live and play in instead of a " dreamhouse" and make them connect until they become a little town world. Bonus points if they have a nite light feature or a little area where nature sounds could play. Could even turn them into a big partyboard game avarars, like roll out a twister like mat, have game cards with situations or play it like Chutes and ladders or Candyland. I swear adults can be so short sighted!

You could have hair clips for each. I can see this little line at a Target or Walmart hell even Dollar Stores.

The girls need merchandising like Lisa Frank like merchandising: stickers, board game, video games, notebooks, posters, Valentine's Day cards, cake topper and party favors balloons, glitter cutouts for the birthday. Coloring books... I am telling you don't let these MF people tell you your product is not marketable! Because it is, it's unique, quirky and if you can throw in adorable feel good quotes like "Blaze your own trail", " Prance Like No One's Watching", or " Don't look back, you're not heading in that direction" or "Believe" with the different hooves leaving adorable patterns, empowerment for girls, especially now with all the negativity out there, you are totally sitting on a gold mine!

They can't just be cheap with these girlies. I LOVE this concept so much! For one, the story behind each character and the world of Centura itself is amazing, and the design of these doll are just phenomenal! I like how it’s not directed strictly to one demographic, but to a wide range of possible customers. As a Greek-American adult who has always loved centaurs and lamented the lack of them in popular culture, I'll be completely honest that I would buy every single one of these dolls and display them on a shelf right in my living room. Especially love the flower-themed and goth ones! Centaur fashion dolls are so rare and while I have a (1) Monster High centaur doll and a couple of the Antu x Penny's Box Dreamlike Tea Party Centaur BJDs from China, I feel like the West is severely missing high-quality centaur fashion dolls like these. Especially love the carousel-inspired body decorations for their horse halves! You clearly put so much thought into these! I've always been so fascinated by the idea of how modern fashion centaurs would work, how their human half fashion and horse half fashion would be designed. I always thought about how My Little Pony did doll clothes and how that could look on centaurs with matching human clothes. I really think we need these in the fashion doll scene. Please keep pitching this (or somehow launch them as an independent brand) I need them!!!

As a teen, I would have LOVED these as a little kid (still love the idea of them!). I did notice that their designs are pretty complex, they look quite expensive to make and mass produce. As others have mentioned, they all have unique bodies, which means you will need separate molds for those, which is also expensive. Minerva and Frostine were def my favourite designs out of them ^^

You're making me fall in love with toys, again. I had a centaur Shimmer in the 80's, she was yellow with dainty deer legs and hooves. You're totally right about the potential for dolls and horses to be combined this way. The snow one and the goth one definitely draw me in the most. I'd want the leg warmers to be stretchy fabric so they could be pulled over like socks, but that does limit the sculpted features. Beautiful!

These are so amazing, I absolutely adore your designs!! I think something that may have been going against you was the diversity of the leg shapes. Although more diverse body types are getting more popular in the doll market, I've noticed that diversity primarily on already established brands that can more easily recouperate the cost of making the variety of molds. With a brand new toyline, companies may be wary of putting that much money into production. On that note, I feel like the intricacy and a few of the materials (such as resin) may have been a factor as those also can be expensive to produce. Take what I say with a heafty grain of salt, I have no experience in the industry, just some consumer knowledge. Definitely don't give up on this, its a fantastic line and there's so much potential!!

I just discovered your channel, and I find this idea very appealing. I'm an ilustration student, and for my "final proyect" next year I was thinking about making a set of ilustrations for a possible fashion doll franchise focused around flowers. It would be along the lines of monster high in the sense that, the students would go to an academy and so on, but main themes of the brand would be saving the enviroment, preventing global warming, protecting nature and the likes. Every girl would be based on a type of flower, and they would have cute insect pets, like a ladybug or a fluffy bee! This video helped me envision the project more seriously, specially the part of the "pitch" when I have to show it to posible investors (aka my teachers), so not only was this video fun to watch it was also very informative and helpful, thank you!

Thank you Savannah for sharing this insight into your concept and pitch, even though they didnt take it, which is such a shame, you should keep going with it and find another way to create them, you definitely have something that "kidults" (love it!) or kids alike will love and collect. The characters you have created show so much depth in the detail, they bring all the elements of their worlds and you have captured that in their character, right down to the detail in the eyes. You have such a talent and sharing a knock back I think helps us all to just keep going if you have an idea that really resonates, because sometimes it doesn't always work out first time, but that doesnt mean it wont given the right audience. I must admit I've never collected dolls, but I love handmade sculptures in different mediums. Go and bring them to life and keep making these videos, they are really inspirational xx

Would LOVE for this to come to fruition. I agree that these would sell great to not only collectors but also kids. I am a nanny and I know the two little kids I watch would adore these. They are big fans of My Little Pony and princess dolls so I feel like these would be right up their alley. I personally love Minerva. A goth goat centaur is such a cute idea. I also love all their companions. I see the packaging including cool facts for kids to introduce them to a bunch of different environments and how we can help protect them.

I think they could be a 3d printed trial test dolls for each girl I love all of them I think the pets should definitely come with the doll and bendable joints like can they sit. When I was a kid that was my biggest fear and also a second outift for each doll. Plus a booklet of the dolls in the box and also more designs and skintones I also love fashion as a fashion designer in training I would've loved this as mlp fan (My little pony).

They are gorgeous designs. You need to take into consideration the tooling costs for making them. Like how many can be made using the same molds for the pieces versus what needs a new one. There is also paint decoration, fabric choices, hair choices. Perhaps having a prototype 3d printed to go with the pitch book too. Other competitors would also include My Little Pony as a big one. Then there is Wild Manes, Forever Fillies (I think that is what the brand for the little flocked horses is called). The Centaurworld show that was on Netflix. Also Disney with the centaurs and centaurettes featured in Fantasia.

as a teen who will graduate highschool relatively soon (2 years) i love this idea! however, i worry large toy companies may not do it justice when it comes to quality. i say this as i watched the monster high doll releases severely decrease in quality compared to older releases, and additionally the ever after high dolls discontinuation, as well as many other good doll lines with a lot of potential that just didnt get enough attention. but i say all this to say; PLEASE DONT GIVE UP! as an avid plushie collector and collector of figures (not so much dolls! but mostly for the reasons i stated above), please push this idea forward! im practically begging. i would love to see more unique and inclusive doll lines pop up in the market, these concepts are so cool and have a buttload of potential if they are done properly! anywho, goodluck, and you've gained a new subscriber :3

Controversial opinion, I didn't really like the last doll. But everyone else is PERFECT. I guess they're just scared to spend so much money since if you look at Barbie or any other toy the multiple items options have disappeared and the clothes look boring.
