@@fileintrusionI had the basic plan on AVG and I got infected by some ransomware because I was a stubborn fool and I deactivated the antivirus to install “roblox cheats”, I panicked when I saw the whole message and the money it wanted me to send so I turned on AVG and I resolved the issues, the ransomware got deleted and my files got decrypted, so there’s your answer.

Most of the viruses first attacked the boot sector (the thing that tells the computer that it's a computer at launch), meaning that even if the anti-virus works.
