Hey cryptodad how are you man, been watching the chanel for a long time, big fan, just had a quick question for you. If im using phantom wallet with my ledger connected to it, does that mean that my seed phrase is being stored on my ledger and not on my phone? Cause theoretically, doesn't my phantom wallet turn into a cold wallet once i connect it to my ledger and need my ledger to confirm any transactions for my wallet? My other question also is that is it safe to store lots of crypto on there since its sort of a cold wallet now? Thanks Rex!

Yes, you are correct. Even though you are using Phantom on your phone, the private key is being managed by the ledger device via Bluetooth. Just remember that the Phantom wallet will allow you to manage multiple individual wallets within the app only the one that you have connected to your ledger device is a cold wallet. The other ones are hot wallets so just make sure you were using the right wallet if you are managing multiple wallets within Phantom.

Question Rex....I have Polygon POL 'on' my ledger but is it 'Polygon Ecosystem Token' or 'Polygon' and what is the difference between the last two coins??

Yeah, they recently went through a transition and there’s a lot of terminology being thrown around now. They used to be called MATIC tokens and they changed the name to POL. I think Ledger Live refers to them as polygon ecosystem token but the word polygon can also be used to describe the same thing. Some people still have the old ERC 20 version which would be in your Ethereum wallet. But if you see a POL balance then it is native polygon.
