Sweet vid bro. One thing I’ve found conflicting is shifter and foolish burial goods. When you open them both you can only take one route because if you shifter then the goods will drop the salvation into the banish pile meaning you can’t use it - or you foolish burial goods then it is in the GY and you can’t activate the shifter. It’s still potentially worth running in the hopes you don’t draw into both but it is very irritating

the only crystal beast card that is not in the structure deck in this list is rainbow bridge of salvation wich is from the 2022 tin all the other stuff is included in the structure deck.

Rainbow bridge of salvation is super cheap and the only main deck card here. I’m personally not even running it since it’s the only card which conflicts with shifter. The extra deck isn’t in the structure deck of course but you can just pick up a few cheap Rank 4 like Bagooska, Dweller, Tornado Dragon, etc. but obviously stuff like Appolousa is ideal.

You play multiple copies of foolish burial goods bcuz bridge of salvation is necrovalley which is needed to win some matchups and it is a +1. You play muliple foolish goods to see one of your main win conditions more often basically. There arent rlly other targets for foolish burial which are very useful. Crystal miracle has a grave effect which is decent. You can use foolish goods to deck thin after u dump bridge of salvation i guess.

I’m the guy from the video. And this was old banlist so it only gets better for the new format Game 1 2-0 cyber dragons Game 2 I lost to the winner and man behind the camera playing tearlaments. Questionable plays game 1 and a hard brick game 2. Game 3 2-0 Hero’s Game 4 2-1 spright. Deck has an above average matchup against spright. Unfortunately not sure how much spright there will be after the banlist comes into affect.

I'm seriously thinking of building this deck, got most of the staples and the structures. Would you say it's a good rogue deck? maybe t3 with shifter in main? Also I'd love to see a combo tutorial on this list, really interested in this more competitive-yet-control crystal beast, most other players are running the entire combo package What's the endboard like?

I'm not sure what his end goal is but an ideal end board from my research and testing is a Pegasus, a set conclave, set miracle, a rainbow bridge of the heart, and either necrovalley or mystic mine. That leaves you with 2 bounces, a negate, and a special summon to help you set up for your next turn. Check out neshy's video on it, it has some gameplay.

have you considered gamma? i find that having zenith hand trapped is pretty rough unless you already drew into bridge of the heart. if you use zenith off of bond then gamma is live

Serious question how did this deck get 2nd place? it only runs 6 monsters and I dont have enough metarials to even do more than 1 xyz and then run out of crystal beasts to use for my traps. Like how did this win any matches XD. Im trying on ygo pro but no success yet for like a day

You don’t need to go into your extra deck you basically interrupt with your traps and otk with the cat I have a match replay on the channel though it’s a loss but it’s a good display of the deck keeping up with tearalament

Why rainbow dragon if you don’t run 7 cb

It's needed for Crystal Beast Rainbow Dragon's effect. It special summons a Crystal beast from deck with its effect negated, and adds Rainbow Dragon from deck to hand, and the effect to add rainbow dragon is not optional, so you need one in deck in order to use it.

sorry to burst your bubble but throughout the entirety of crystal beasts the best variants have always been the ones that ran a minimal CB monster lineup. in fact this is the first time in the history of CB that actually summoning rainbow dragon is even viable, but still having to run 5 other bricks is just not worth the payoff besides using overdrive until konami decides to make retrains of the OG CB monsters (which is probably never).
