THANK YOU! Over time I was becoming increasingly more anxious about cleaning the filter in my 100 gallon tank. I would have small drips and leaks but they would eventually stop. Not this time! I never knew I needed to maintain and change the O Rings. Now I have some leaks and am on the emergency hunt for these guys. I will change them with confidence after this video. Your tank looks fantastic!

what light are you using. and are you adding any else than seachem prime during water change?

I have two Fluval Sea Marine 3.0 strip lights on Alcatraz. I only dose with Seachem Safe on this tank during a water change.

I have a few question about floting poop 😢 I have 130gallon tank with X8 filtration 3500L/hours It is over flow tank, i have wave maker 10000liters/hours Stock with 30 adults 4-5inches, Fish poop always flooting when turn on the light😢

I keep one wavemaker at the top same side as the filter intake. Another wavemaker down low on the other side which creates a current that blows all the detritus towards the intake. Try that if you aren't already. And look for dead spots where the detritus is gathering and move things around until the dead spots are gone.

Pleco are my friend they clean glass better than anything, but they are invasive so you need to take care of them.. Don't throw them in the wild. You can use newspapers or any paper like that to clean the inside too.

Plecos are a net loss. They pollute FAR more than they clean. No animal can eat more than it wastes. Same reason perpetuation is impossible.

Are these glass or acrylic tanks? What's the best visual and quality tank to purchase?

These are acrylic which is as clear as it gets. If you get a high end glass aquarium with low iron, they are very clear as well. Acrylic will scratch very easily and glass will not. It can shatter though, whereas acrylic doesn’t.
