You can use other sizes than the 14mm heart and the 6mm bicone. I made them with a 10mm heart and 4mm bicone. I have also made them with 8mm rivolis and 3mm bicones. As long as the big bead to littl ebead ratio is correct you could use any size.

Thank you so much for this video. I found for me it was better to use beading chain through one of the back bicones instead of making a loop with seed beads. That way it doesn't flip over when you wear it.

Thank you!! I've been looking for a unique embellishment for the hem of my wedding gown. My colors are peacock teal and cognac (amber). I don't want a lot of peacock feathers and have it over done. I don't want any cheap, Vegas stuff happening. I'm tying the colors in to a vintage peacock feather pill box hat that I found that I will attaching a birdcage veil too. I've been looking for beading ideas for a subtle elegance, again on the hem of my gown.

Kelly . I have made this component into a ring a couple of times using illusion cord and they have broken after a few wears. I believe that the crystals are cutting the cord. Have you any ideas as to how to prevent this please?
