Venables stitched us up that season by jumping ship and taking most of the squad to QPR with him

all i can remember from that season was Paul Barron picking the ball out of the net, terrible goalkeeper( yeah he saved that pen V Everton) why Burridge was never picked i dont know, especially as Venables took him to QPR, so cant have been personal he wasnt picked.
