Hey Lynn and Danny... Great to see you guys out and about... Yep, that is a lot of state parks...Imagine people building that temple mound by hand... Imagine that they found artifacts from as far away as Oho... Geocaching is fun. Bugs come with the territory... Gators everywhere you look... Manatees are awesome creatures... Thanks for the tour... Have a great week...

Hello. Could not imagine building those mounds by hand. The Indians did a lot I could not imagine doing by hand. The largest Indian mound in North America is in Natchez, Mississippi, on the trice. We have been there to see that 1, too, and it is so huge. Hope your day is amazing!

Crystal River State Park is a beautiful park. Great view from the top of the mound. Pretty trail along the water. We've never tried geo-cashing, but I want too. Bug spray for sure. Is Crystal River one of the places in Florida that you can kayak with the mantees? Finally got an e-bike. So excited.
@RVAmerica2 жыл бұрын
The geo cashing was fun. We loved the park. I think so on kayaking. We were there past the time of the manatees., so we did not see any. You have to go about a month earlier than we did to catch them. Congrats on your ebike. How do you like it? We will have to meet up and ride some trails together. We love ours. Have a great weekend.

Oh my old fishing grounds I wonder if Pete's pier is still there that's the ramp I use to use when I went out to play with the manatees and also for fishing tournaments and the dog I had at the time loved to swim there every time we went. And just up the road they have Homosassa springs I hope you went there as well. You all take care and stay safe.

@@RVAmerica I had a pretty good childhood no thanks to my mother or all the thanks to my mother we did not get along My mother was more of a demon than she was a mother so whenever I could get away I was out in the woods to swamp off alligator rally out of big Cypress Indian reservation guess you can say I was raised by savages but man with a life I had I literally wore tires out on my bicycle where they lasted kids years I was lucky to get a year and a half to two years out of the tires I covered from fort Lauderdale to Miami to the 40 mile marker on alligator Alley to Boca Raton to the beach all done with the 10-speed till I started driving at age 13 with a 68 Ford mustang there I expanded my horizon went to lake Okeechobee the keys the West Coast I'd covered most of Florida by the time I was 16 I did have a couple of good stepfathers one of them was Charles Fitzgerald the other one was Edward Junne Fitz as we called him would take us fishing all over South Florida saltwater is where I learned my love of the ocean was from him and a friend of mine Sean wygant which got me into surfing I was very seldom at home due to my mother but yeah other than not having parents that really cared other than Edward Junne it wasn't bad as long as my mother wasn't there.
