She played with PTX in Radioactive. How she can move the way she does and play as great as she does at the same time amazes me! She's fun to watch. Great talent.

Lindsey had a lesson with a professional "Hair Hanger" for a week and then trained for three months before doing this performance for a streaming Christmas special.... and YES! It hurts while being done. Lindsey has videos on the Tubes during training and she was in tears most of that time. She says that now that she did it, she's never doing it again. If you like Lindsey, check out "Shatter Me" with Lzzy Hale (I recommend the SiriusXM live version) and "Radioactive" with Pentatonix!

On her youtube page she has a vlog episode that really shows all the pain, and determination she went through to do this. She is an amazing young lady.

This song is among many that have two versions. A dub-step version and an orchestral version. All of her successes and failures are all her own as she has had no backing of a record label. It's pretty amazing all of the skills she has mastered since leaving AGT and the amount of quality content she has released over the years. I don't believe the best years are behind her...

That has to be so hard to do both at the same time, so crazy talented.

In the behind the scenes video she did for this she states it hurts. It brought her to tears multiple times and she wasn't sure she could do it. It is an absolutely beautiful performance but I'm personally glad she won't be putting herself through that pain again.

She always dances when she plays. I live that she can’t stay still will the music. I could be wrong, but I think she did ballet as well. Any of her works are wonderful! 🎶💕🦋

Great reaction! She did this on her Holiday Special last year. And, yes, the pain is off the charts. ! Every time she buckled in. She had to do it one session as it hurt more if she started over. Here's her bts video about doing this. Why she did it is eludes me. But, everything about Lindsey Stirling amazes me. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5zcXn1jl55_mbc

You should watch her behind the scenes of her hair hanging video! It was so painful for her but she chose to not give up on it! But it's such an amazing transformation

Yes she trained for this. She has videos that show it. Yes she did a cover of Imagine Dragon's Radioactive with Pentatonix back in 2013.

Was that not totally amazing!! I actually get the hanging from the hair- it would definitely strain but not hurt in the way you’d think but to do that and dance in that way is something. I just started aerial hoop & I can fully appreciate what it takes to move like that in the air so I find that impressive but then to add playing violin- lost for words!!!😮. Thank you so much for reacting to this/ I knew you’d love it!! All her performances are just special.

This is an original of hers. She writes and performs a lot of her own compositions, but she has quite a few collaborations with other musicians. She was also on TV’s “So You Think You Can Dance”

She wasn’t told she wasn’t good enough for AGT. She made it to the quarterfinals. And she had her KZbin channel for years before auditioning. You couldn’t do a simple Google search before recording??
@buckylovesplums_67313 жыл бұрын
Um she literally was told she wasn't good enough as a violinist and wouldn't sell out on the quarterfinals and she didn't start making actual music videos until after. She's literally stated many times that maybe you should do some research 🙄
