None of the anime or the manga ever go in detail, but I don’t think any of his friends knew about Naruto having the Nine Tails in him. Sasuke said, when looking into Naruto at their 1st reunion, that “who knew THIS would be inside you.” I know it can be assumed either Shikamaru figured it out or Sakura found out through her work with Tsunade and told everyone, or that it becomes common knowledge after adulthood given that the law only claims not to be spoken to children or in public. Regardless, I don’t think anyone knew Naruto’s status at this point until either Shippuden or in between.

I CANT- THE DESIGNS ARE TOO AMAZING FOR MY EYES… I’m getting blinded by the beauty… No but they’re all so unique and original I’ve never seen anything like them. Hinata- Looks almost identical to the show, unique, amazing Sakura- VERY UNQIUE and elegant, headband perfectly in the spot where it’s supposed it be, looks identical to the show but somehow is also unique Suske -(nah nah Sasuke) THE hair in the front is just 👌 amazing and unique, the eyes are soft but somehow look moody like him, identical to the show, emotion matches personality canonically Tenten- VERY IDENTICAL TO THE SHOW, but still has a unique front hair design, eyes match her, clothes are perfect to the show Lee- his eyes are not forced to look like him in the show like how others just smash those creepy eyes that have no emotion, has the shine in the hair which is a cool detail, identical to the show Shikamaru(I almost spelled shikarumu 😅)- SUPER IDENTICAL TO THE SHOW, clothes surprisingly and amazingly identical to the show, eyes are detailed and it’s cool how you removed the outside of the eye because he has a sharp pupil literally Neji- one of the most unique designs, cool design, eyes look cool and identical, detailed, clothes are amazing once again Shino- Really identical to the show, looks sleek and cool, glasses are just enough to cover his eye not the size of his whole head Ino- VERY UNIQUE DESIGN, I can still recognize it’s her though, not identical to other ocs of her, detailed. The thing is,… how DID YOU MAKE THE HEADBANDS PERFECT JUST PERFECTLY LIKE HOW THEY ARE IN THE SHOW, others do it too but THE DESIGNS- THE BEAUTY- (Other people do good too of course it’s just these designs are so unique but canon at the same time!) I forgot to add to Shino that he isn’t emotionless and his eyebrows move indicating if he’s surprised or what emotion he’s responding to
