Love both of your paintings. I do use both hot press and cold press papers for different reasons. Mainly use the hot press for more detailed work, but have never attempted loose florals. I will try now 😊😊

Very funny! "Sometimes I paint a background just because I want to paint some more!" I love it . I don't like painting backgrounds (I prefer to use masking fluid) but I think I will like it more if I try on hot pressed paper. Thanks!
