SUCH a great song I can't keep my stuff together when I hear it... I feel this song so hard except instead of a significant other I think about me and my idealized 'perfect' self. I try not to think about it ("separate passion from conversation"), but when I see a glimmer of it I get paralyzed and scared ("I silently deal with the palpitations"), I became anxious and am "absorbed by ideas" that are out of my reach, I only say the most simple and basic things because I can't really express myself, my brain overthinks and runs me into the ground 24/7, making me burnt out all the time and unable to release my emotions by crying or panicking ("I express the mundane, despite my thoughts being manic, and exhaust the part of my brain that allow me to panic").
