Tbf the karambit doesn't need the rare animation. You can spam F and R to make the karambit spin like the talon rare animation and it looks better on the karambit still

I've been using the talon knife crimson web for a while now, the black finish makes it look like a karambit which is pretty cool favorite knives : butterfly, karambit, talon, m9 favorite budget knives : stiletto, falchon

Imo the ursus is just a worse looking CT knife, 200$ for a direct downgrade (even more so with CS2's updated lighting for the default knives) Some other newer knives like the survival knife and the skeleton knife too look pretty boring, the only unique aspect of the skeleton is that it spins a lot, I don't have autism so that's not something that I look forward to. Personally, I think the Shadow daggers and the Falchion are underpriced for what they are, I would probably deem case hardened/black pearl daggers or a falchion black laminate as dream knives.

For vanilla knives you can modify your game files and play with them on offline maps. Community servers with "!ws" in their name allow you to showcase the different knives in different finishes as well as weapon skins.

bro i bought falchion case hardened, looks really cool but i wanted to buy gloves and agent to match it and i noticed that some knifes change ur fov on ur arms, so annoying so be aware that if u wanna buy gloves or agent, falchion, shadow daggers and classic knife are not really good for that.

As someone with no community baggage at all, my ranking goes (best to worst): Butterfly (although they don't resemble actual balisongs) Skeleton Talon (it has an extra animation) Karambit - Classic Stiletto Huntsman Nomad Bayonet (pullout is nicer than M9 IMO) Bowie M9 Ursus - These knives are kinda lame: Falchion Survival Gut Shadow Daggers Parachord Flip Navaja

As someone who has ursus and falchion I would say falchion is kinda better because you always get a sick inspect animation compared to ursus. Also you can make it Rolling in your palms when you spam f and r. After buying falchion I wished never bought to ursus because of the price gap. Since falchion is way cheaper and a little better, being best budget knife for sure.
